Boston Red Sox to parents:If you hold traditional values on homosexuality and kids, you're a hater

The Red Sox by now certainly understand why people are upset about their public support for the vulgar, homosexual website "It Gets Better". Over the last three weeks the organization has been flooded with complaints -- many of them quite descriptive -- via phone, email, and US mail. We have personally talked to their representatives and explained in detail what that site entails. We also mailed a fairly descriptive letter to the Red Sox vice president of public relations.

But instead of doing the right thing, the reaction by the Red Sox has been to dig in their heels.

The Red Sox people we talked to have reacted much the same way that liberal school officials, politicians, reporters, and others react. When confronted with this obscene, graphic material being presented to kids, they initially act a little shocked, but you can quickly tell that it doesn't really bother them. Sometimes they'll give lip service to "telling people higher up." But it's clear they're not particularly interested in it -- and that they think we're the kooks for pursuing it. (Does all this seem familiar?)

As a gesture of defiance, the Red Sox now have the It Gets Better video as an "Editor's Choice" on their movie page.

They've also written a rather insulting canned statement which they send to complainers as a reply. It does not address our concerns but instead accuses us of supporting "discrimination" and "acts of hatred."

Would it be too much to ask that sports teams be neutral on the controversial issues of the day, such as homosexual marriage and the whole homosexual agenda, of which this is a part?

The Sox have decided that the liberal side of the issue is where they publicly want to make a stand. Why do they do this? Was there pressure brought to bear by the homosexual mafia? We deserve to know why it is that a major league sports team endorses homosexuality.

They obviously don’t care if the p**s off the majority of their fans by taking the liberal position.

Media blackout: Boston Herald refuses to cover disgusting “It Gets Better” controversy
Herald reporter calls it “contrived”!

http://www.massresistance.com/docs/gen/11c/it_gets_better/press/index.html

A major reason why the Boston Red Sox (and others) can get away with promoting the explicit homosexuality of “It Gets Better” to kids is that the major Boston newspapers, and the media in general, refuse to report on it.

Even the Boston Herald’s “Pulse” doesn’t dare cover tough subjects like homosexuality.

The media has consistently avoided covering the homosexual movement in the schools for years, despite what we continue to expose. But one would think that something as outrageous as this would be an exception. Unfortunately, the blackout has only gotten worse.

In particular, the major newspapers in Boston (Boston Globe, the Boston Herald) simply will not write about situations which expose the destructive nature of the homosexual movement.

On August 16 we called up Christine McConville, the reporter at the Herald who covers “health” and “traditional value” issues there. She’s written extensively about the state-run “MariaTalks” website which pro-life groups have complained about, and the recent birth control mandates being imposed on Catholic hospitals by the Obama administration.

We also emailed her the information about It Gets Better and the Red Sox. She told us she had looked at and agreed it was very disturbing. She said she’d have to check with her editors, and we should call back the next day. The following afternoon when we called back, her demeanor was different. She was quite terse. She said that our allegation about It Gets Better seemed “contrived” and that the Herald wouldn’t be covering it. She clearly no longer thought it was a problem worth reporting about. She wouldn’t talk about it any further.

We think that the problem is homosexuality. Back in April, McConville wrote a series of “expose” articles about the state-run “MariaTalks” website aimed at kids, which was giving out abortion information. (This came after complaints from Mass. Citizens for Life.) Her articles gave the impression that the MariaTalks website was all about abortion. But a larger part of that site leads kids to discussions of deviant sex and the normalization of homosexuality, which are at least as infuriating. But McConville neglected to mention that in her coverage.

What happened to sports being an escape from the everyday issues we all deal with? Whatever happened to going to the ball game to see a game and have a good time? Why do we have to be preached to, or lectured to, about how we should be liberal?

Why the heck is a sports organization publicly supporting the homosexual lifestyle? Dollar wise, there can’t be a profit motive.

Yes, I hate the sox’ attitude of eliteness, I hate the boston attitude likewise, and I hate the taxachusetts attitude and political stupidity (RINOs Romney and Brown sux and we all know barney does). Having spent four years of my AF career at Hanscom, I can say I’ve “experienced” it... ‘cept for the ballteam - wouldn’t waste the money.

So I guess I’m a hater - I hate evil.

A more accurate name for a pro-homo video would be "It Gets Butter."

By the way, Youkilis and Varitek are gay lovers, I don't know if you knew that.
