And let’s say Palin gets the nomination. According to the polls, she’s just about the weakest candidate going up against Obama, with high negatives, while Perry is the strongest. Are you Palin supporters concerned? I am.

At least Palin has had the mother of all rectal exams! Every inch of her life - including her financials, emails and such has been combed over and analyzed - UNLIKE ANY OTHER CANDIDATE - EVER!!! Name one other damned politician that could pass the squeaky clean test that Sarah has passed.

This woman is for real - not a phony bone in her body. She's a patriot and I'm sick of people being so quick to criticize her because the mainstream media and the GOP establishment continues to dump on her.

If she happens to get the nomination, I guarantee you she will win. Hell, Lassie could run against BO and win!!!

That’s why I said “if” it’s untested.

Don’t miss the point—that Governor Perry is probably not what he pretends to be.

Take off and nuke K Street from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.

PING!

I haven’t spent a single syllable defending Sarah Palin’s honesty and integrity because they are above reproach and everyone knows it, even the trolls.

I agree. What we're going to have to defend is her abrupt resignation from office.

And before you fire back with "How many millions in legal fees defending herself against bogus charges was she supposed to run up before resigning?", I agree with that, too. You don't have to it to sell me, we need to sell it to the Independents and undecideds.

She gave a great speech yesterday. In spite of the pouring rain it was an enjoyable rally. Even after the three hour drive home, our clothes were still wet.

“But with all of that, he’s worth $1 million, or if you believe David Frum, $2.8 million. If he was trading his political connections for fortune, he didn’t do a very good job.”

“We’ve already established *what* you are. Now we’re just haggling over the price.”

***************

You might say that we are wrangling over the precise terms “For Sale” sign. That he sports one appears to be beyond cavil.

GOOD post, BC. As you know, the Governor of Texas has his "net worth shielded" in a blind trust, and hasn't filed his income taxes, yet. Perry became a millionaire while serving in office

In other words you admit that the drug could not have been brought to market by a major drug company without being tested to the tune of tens of millions of dollars and yet what Perry did, which with the opt out, was approved by the Christian Mediacal Association, among others, somehow indcates that one should find him incapable of filling the Oval Office. You betray your self as being blindly critical without being capable of reasonably supporting your criticism.

You make a distinction which is irrelevant.

Not so .. monies from the Texas Enterprise Fund and been instrumental in inducing many of those companies to build facilities in Texas and move jobs there as well.

You’re not really considering this very carefully.

Let’s forget about the vaccine issue, I don’t really know much about it.

What do you have to say about the rest of Perry’s shady dealings?

baloney. You don’t need to bribe companies to move to Texas. It has many advantages that are built in. Government has no business doing this. It promotes crony capitalism and we can’t afford it.

To say nothing about all of the trumped-up frivilous lawsuits that were dismissed.

None of us even had Sarah Palin on our radar until John "biggest Rino ever" McCain, chose her for his running mate.

And she accepted.

So we just forget that and all it implies?

No, actually the polls had GW Bush with a 3-5 points lead going into the Nov 2006 elections. They were right on the money.

People were ripping the polls in 2008 saying they were cooking them for Obama. They were on the money.

Polls are a great propaganda tool and are meant to influence, not inform.
