How reliable has this poll proven to be in the past?

Nevertheless, the results seem to more accurately reflect my personal opinion of the race. Other polls constantly peg Romney as a frontrunner but even here in Massachusetts, support for him seems lukewarm. Up in New Hampshire over this weekend, Romney's Tea Party appearance was mostly unnoticed while Palin got all the headlines. Romney's 6% seems about right to me.

I've always considered Palin to be the first choice of most Republicans. The fact that she is in second place even before her announcement bodes well for when she does get in.

It is not a scientific poll but it accurately measures HotAir readers who chose to participate, in that sense it might be similar to a national closed primary.
