Even Republicans Rejected Info About Obama's Past
American Thinker ^ | September 14, 2011 | John Drew

Posted on 09/14/2011 1:39:35 AM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

What would you do if you knew that the top Democrat running for president was lying about his past?

That is the question I was faced with in 2008. I had met the young Barack Obama while he was a sophomore at Occidental College, and I knew that his commitment to socialism was deep, genuine, and longstanding. See my earlier article on American Thinker.

I had been a leader of the Marxist students at Occidental College myself, starting in 1976 when I founded the precursor of the Democrat Socialist Alliance on campus. The young Obama I knew was a Marxist socialist who would have been quite comfortable with Communist party members like his Hawaii mentor Frank Marshall Davis, retired domestic terrorists like Bill Ayers, or active socialist politicians like Illinois State Senator Alice Palmer.

The Obama I knew was nothing like the lifelong pragmatic centrist that he was pretending to be in the 2008 presidential campaign. When I talked politics with the young Obama, he expressed a profound commitment to bringing about a socialist economic system in the U.S. -- completely divorced from the profit motive -- which would occur, in his lifetime, through a potentially violent, Communist-style revolution. In this context, I saw my report on young Obama as a key piece of evidence suggesting a profound continuity in his belief system.

Although I was surprised by Barack Obama's insistence on his mainstream ideological credentials, I was shocked that my attempts to spread the news about young Obama's Marxism failed to gain any media traction with reporters, activists, or campaign staffs during the 2008 presidential campaign.

Once I saw the significance of my face-to-face observations on the young Obama, I went out of my way to get my story on record with the Orange County Register.

I can appreciate his frustration. However, even BamBamKennedy’s own words to Joe the Plumber about his intentions to redistribute this nation’s wealth hardly got a raised eyebrow. The hysteria over electing the first person of color overshadowed the ‘reality’ of what was ahead. And there has not been one democrat outside of the ‘Donald’ who has uttered a discouraging word. Congress in the majority supported everything BamBamKennedy mandated.

Ahhhhh, Communism. Unfortunately our electorate either have no clue what it means or have a warm fuzzy nostalgic feeling about it (love, peace, Woodstock, etc). I’ve tried to illustrate the Marxist tendencies of Obama and all I get is a blank stare. Or, I’ve even had some argue that Jesus was a liberal or a socialist so what could possibly be so bad about distributing wealth!?

Although Obama has turned out to be the biggest disaster this country has ever faced, there are two positives that have come out of his election:

1. The exposure of "Affirmative Action" to be the biggest con game ever foisted on the the American people.
2. The complete destruction of the Democratic party as a national political organization.

“The shocks the world has been feeling these last years”

Bush’s fault! (sorry couldn’t resist)

I am more and more convinced that Marxism is our greatest threat. The world has been lulled to sleep since the Berlin wall came down. Radical Islam? I think they are mutually “using each other” to bring down western civilization. They both think they will be on top when the dust settles.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the American voter!

It’s what you get with government schools.

Just tell Americans that the Federal government will provide them with:
1. jobs
2. housing
3. food
4. education
5. healthcare
6. transportation

and they will vote for you everytime. Never mind that:
1. effective unemployment is 17%. Among African American youth it is 50% but they voted 95% for Obama in 2008
2. the number of defaulted mortgages is the highest in American history and the majority of mortgaged homes are underwater.
3. food prices are skyrocketing
4. the government spends more money on education than we have ever done and we fall far below other countries in science and math scores, our dropout rates among African Americans is tremendous and our youth know nothing about American history, civics and how our constitutional form of government works.
5. Obamacare is about to take our economy down and death panels will determine your access to heath care or whether you will just have to die.
6. Our roads and bridges are crumbling but we continue to explore outer planets and for life on Mars.

Is there any hope for us?

Marxism, which is called socialism and “progressive” is merely what I call statism.

Atheists fall into this because they replace a supernatural god with the god of government.

Islam is for the diehard theists, but it is the worship of a twisted, hateful false god as well.

In 2008, John McCain foolishly decided that his campaign would not go after Obama’s dodgy, radical Left background lest McCain and the GOP be accused of racism. Consequently, an undocumented personal account from someone who knew Obama was not given much weight by the McCain campaign or conservative friendly media outlets.

I agree and I would add that the mainstream media, having sold us this bill of goods, has lost its ability to persuade. The 2010 elections are evidence of this, the media shilled for each and every dem candidate, and they were shellacked. Last night's NY 9 race indicates that the people have begun to consider the opposite of what the media seems to want.

That is assuming there is a free, fair election next November.

Obama Espoused Radical Views in College [advocated revolution]
Steve Malzberg - WOR News Talk Radio 710 ^ | February 12, 2010 | Ronald Kessler
Dr. John C. Drew, a grant writing consultant in Laguna Niguel, Calif., tells Newsmax he met Obama in 1980 when Obama was a sophomore at Occidental College in Los Angeles. Drew had just graduated from Occidental and was attending graduate school at Cornell University.

During Christmas break, Drew says he was at Grauman-Boss’ home in Palo Alto when Obama came over with Mohammed Hasan Chandoo, his roommate from Pakistan.

“Barack [Obama] and Hasan showed up at the house in a BMW, and then we went to a restaurant together,” Drew says. “We had a nice meal, and then we came back to the house and smoked cigarettes and drank and argued politics.”

For the next several hours, they discussed Marxism.

He [Obama] was arguing a straightforward Marxist-Leninist class-struggle point of view, which anticipated that there would be a revolution of the working class, led by revolutionaries, who would overthrow the capitalist system and institute a new socialist government that would redistribute the wealth,” says Drew, who says he himself was then a Marxist.

The idea was basically that wealthy people were exploiting others,” Drew says. “That this was the secret of their wealth, that they weren’t paying others enough for their work, and they were using and taking advantage of other people. He was convinced that a revolution would take place, and it would be a good thing.”

Drew concluded that Obama thought of himself as “part of an intelligent, radical vanguard that was leading the way towards this revolution and towards this new society.” ..."

Referring to Obama’s quote from “Dreams of My Father” that he associated with Marxist professors, Drew says, “What he’s not saying is that he was in 100 percent total agreement with those Marxist professors. When you understand that, Obama’s later associations and policies make more sense, including why he was taken in by Rev. Wright’s ideology.”

The Obama Third Reich reminds me of a twisted type of X-Men movie where the evil mutant has enough power to completely mind control the nation into supporting him and making the gullible to his ideas and laws.

I actually believe that Obama was built into such of a person that was crafted by outside interests solely to use every single fear and weakness that most of America has, such as the fear of riots in the streets from black Americans, fear of sudden jihaadist Moslems, also using the dreams of many naturally born socialists that aspired for a modernized super socialist country that in theory was better than all the others that have failed in most respects.

But most of all Obama was designed and crafted to be nothing more than the biggest con artist ever elected, to steal trillions of dollars, to hurt and weaken America both economically and morally.

Obama must be removed from office and for as long as it takes will be exposed, every lie and false front will be laid out for views.

Did Communism Fake Its Own Death in 1991?
American Thinker ^ | January 16, 2010 | Jason McNew

In a [] 1984 book [New Lies for Old], ex-KGB Major Anatoliy Golitsyn predicted the liberalization of the Soviet Bloc and claimed that it would be a strategic deception. ..."

"Golitsyn's argument was that beginning in about 1960, the Soviet Union embarked on a strategy of massive long-range strategic deception which would span several decades and result in the destruction of Western capitalism and the erection of a communist world government."

"Golitsyn published his second book, The Perestroika Deception, after the Soviet Union was dissolved in 1991. This book contained further analysis of the liberalization, in addition to previously classified memoranda submitted by Golitsyn to the CIA. The two books must be read together to get a complete picture of Golitsyn's thesis."

A Landslide Mandate For Change

A breakthrough election
Congratulations on an extraordinary history making election!

We can think back with pride to decades of hard work toward our strategic goal of a big enough, broad enough and united enough labor and all-people’s movement that could overcome the ultra-right blockage to all progress. That all people’s movement has come to life, it is dynamic and it has the potential to keep growing.

The election of Barack Obama and a strengthened Congress creates new conditions in our country. There is now the possibility to shift gears and move forward. This new day requires us to further develop our tactics in order to continue to deepen and broaden labor and people’s unity.

There are thousands of experiences that we all have had in these momentous days, some large, some small, all of which express the enormity of change in thinking and readiness for involvement that is underway and that steels us for the battles ahead.

The tears of joy we all shared as crowds gathered to watch the election results here and throughout the world dramatize the new moment we are in.

Change is Here, Change is Coming

Sam Webb, National Chair, Communist Party, USA:

Let me begin with a simple observation: If the last 30 years were an era of reaction, then the coming decade could turn into an era of reform, even radical reform. Six months into the Obama presidency, I would say without hesitation that the landscape, atmosphere, conversation, and agenda have strikingly changed compared to the previous eight years.

In this legislative session, we can envision winning a Medicare-like public option and then going further in the years ahead.

We can visualize passing tough regulatory reforms on the financial industry, which brought the economy to ruin.

We can imagine the troops coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan while U.S. representatives participate in a regional process that brings peace and stability to the entire region.

In the current political climate, the expansion of union rights becomes a real possibility.

Much the same can be said about winning a second stimulus bill, and we sure need one, given the still-rising rate, and likely long term persistence, of unemployment.

Isn’t it possible in the Obama era to create millions of green jobs in manufacturing and other sectors of the economy in tandem with an attack on global warming?

Can’t we envision taking new strides in the long journey for racial and gender equality in this new era, marked at its beginning by the election of the first African American to the presidency?

And isn’t the overhaul of the criminal justice and prison system – a system steeped in racism – no longer pie-in-the sky, but something that can be done in the foreseeable future?

All these things are within reach now!

Barack Obama's Marxist Mentor [Frank Marshall Davis]
By Trevor Loudon, NewZeal.Blogspot.com, March 29, 2007

Barack Obama, from Dreams from My Father, Three Rivers Press, New York, Revised Edition, 2004, ISBN 1-4000-8277-3, p. 76-7:
"But by the time I met Frank [Frank Marshall Davis] he must have been pushing eighty, with a big, dewlapped face and an ill-kempt gray Afro that made him look like an old, shaggy-maned lion. He would read us his poetry whenever we stopped by his house, sharing whiskey with Gramps out of an emptied jelly jar."

Obama’s Red Mentor Praised Red Army
AIM Report | By Cliff Kincaid | April 30, 2008

Barack Obama’s childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, a member of the Moscow-controlled Communist Party USA (CPUSA), wrote a poem dedicated to the Soviet Red Army. “Smash on, victory-eating Red Army,” he declared. He also wrote poems attacking traditional Christianity and the work of Christian missionaries.

The “Red Army” poem goes beyond hoping for the communists to beat the Nazis in World War II and hails the Soviet revolution. It says:

Show the marveling multitudes
Americans, British, all your allied brothers
How strong you are
How great you are
How your young tree of new unity
Planted twenty-five years ago
Bears today the golden fruit of victory!

Obama’s Communist Mentor
AIM Column | By Cliff Kincaid | February 18, 2008

excerpt...

"through Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his 'poetry' and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just 'Frank.'

The reason is apparent: Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What's more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations."

Frank Chapman, a CPUSA supporter, has written a letter to the party newspaper hailing the Illinois senator's victory in the Iowa caucuses:

"Obama’s victory was more than a progressive move; it was a dialectical leap ushering in a qualitatively new era of struggle. Marx once compared revolutionary struggle with the work of the mole, who sometimes burrows so far beneath the ground that he leaves no trace of his movement on the surface. This is the old revolutionary 'mole,' not only showing his traces on the surface but also breaking through."

"Why did Barack Obama move to Chicago? Why did he choose a city famous for its corruption and distrust of outsiders as a launching pad for his political career? Did Obama's boyhood mentor, life long communist Frank Marshall Davis influence that choice?"
http://newzeal.blogspot.com/2008/10/obama-file-38-barack-obama-frank.html

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

From the Traditional Values Coalition, March 13, 2008:

"At some point in the 1970s when Barack was attending school in Hawaii, he became acquainted with Frank Marshall Davis, a member of the Communist Party, USA. Davis had moved to Hawaii in 1948 from Chicago where he had been involved in Marxist-related activities.

In Hawaii, he became a mentor to Barack Obama, the man who seeks the Presidency of the United States.

Kathryn Waddell Takara, Ph.D., a Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Hawaii, has written at least two lengthy analysis of Frank M. Davis’s political activities both in Hawaii and while he was living in Chicago. Takara created the first Black Studies department at the U of H in 1971 and is an associate of such notable leftists as Angela Davis and Stokely Carmichael.

Takara’s paper, 'Frank Marshall Davis: Black Labor Activist and Outsider Journalist: Social Movements In Hawaii,' describes Davis’ radical activities in Hawaii as both a writer and labor organizer.

How this committed Communist became a mentor to Barack Obama remains a mystery, but it is likely that his mother was somehow involved in far left activities in Hawaii and met Davis through her left-wing network on the University of Hawaii campus. Perhaps an enterprising reporter could ask Senator Obama how he met Davis and what sort of influence he may have had on him. Likewise, one can only speculate on the influence his rebellious, left-wing mother had on his political beliefs and aspirations.

“Strange delusion”?
Maybe the only answer.
It is an obvious insanity brought about by rejection of God.
We can say (truthfully) that the other side has been brainwashed since the 1920’s but there has to be a darker spiritual reason. And that is why they are incapable of understanding the truth. It starts with a rejection of God.

What is the answer? Only a spiritual worldwide revival that changes the culture. It most likely will take some baaaad stuff to wake us up. As if the millions murdered by Communists wasn’t enough?

Makes perfect sense, though. Russia still to this day is providing military and other assistance to communist regimes. If they were really done with communism and "pro-Capitalist", they wouldn't be doing that. Pravda has become a source for deceiving the (naive) world into thinking Russia is now pro-Capitalist. There are even Freepers who have fallen for the BS.

From the article. The money quote:

"I do not think most independents or conservatives understand, or fully appreciate, the tremendous advantages the left derives from having the mainstream media serve as the fully paid, completely sympathetic, Dan Rather-level opposition research team of the Democratic Party. "

Quite true in general, but not here on FR. I think we understand the power the MSM. It is diminishing with time but is still a powerful force that will do everything it can to reelect the Socialist/Marxist Obama.

And if that wasn't serious enough, they also have a powerful influence in 'education' and in the film, tv and music industries.

There was a time shortly after the revolution in 1917 that capitalism was encouraged. Russia being such a backward country they had very little “capital” to distribute. Since the “fall of the wall” most mature communist nations started to embrace “crony” capitalism simply as a tool for generating cash for the state (ummmm, kinda like here too). What we have today is not “free enterprise” because everything we do is regulated by the state, to create more cash and power for the state.
Obama’s “hope and change” is almost complete.

Now that he has personal wealth, HE is exploiting others.

Rush was the only dog that barked that night.

Remember “I hope he fails” and the reaction it got?

A lot of them knew but were afraid to risk criticizing a black candidate. Many still are.

You mean African candidate, don’t you?

The Birther Summit in Honolulu: Day 1

Because she had just asked something about the “race” field on the birth certificate she was working on, I asked, “Back in 1961, would anyone have ever entered ‘African’ as the race of a parent?” She said, “No, back then they probably would have listed a black person’s race as ‘negro.’” I asked, “So, the word ‘African’ wouldn’t have been used, because that is a nationality and not a race, right?” And she responded, “Right. Nowadays we can use ‘African American’ though.” To which I added, “But, the word ‘African’ by itself has never been used as an entry for race?” And she simply said, “No. Never.”

And there you have it . . . from the folks at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children.

Just tell Americans that the Federal government will provide them with:
1. jobs

Dead end, low wage jobs dependent upon Party affiliation.

2. housing

Ugly, leaky, cold, damp 500 sq. ft. apartments for every family with shared, filthy communal bathroom and kitchen.

3. food

Bread adulterated with sawdust, moldy cabbage, rotten potatoes and 1/2 kilo of mystery meat per month, but all the rot gut vodka you can stomach.

4. education

Inculcation masquerading as education. Hard science education only available to children of the nomenkultura.

5. healthcare

Delivered by nurses aides and offering aspirin, if available and dull reusable needles to inject adulterated and possibly ineffective medications.

6. transportation

Inefficient, unreliable, uncomfortable, expensive and only available to the Party members.

Socialism provides ersatz benefits to the docile and compliant, delivered with a snarl.

And now, under zer0, after less than 3 years, we have:

Black youth flash robs, beatdowns and localized riots openly aimed at whites and condoned by the so-called DOJ.

Scores of sudden jihad incidents, sanitized by the media and spun to be fault of capitalism, Israel and Christianity.

A modern super power devolving down into an inefficient, crumbling third world hole.

Food and energy inflation, asset deflation, brownouts and blackouts, unionized first responders, rationed health care, shortages of materiel and talent, 4 wars, including one on the southern border and a total gutting of the society and its builders in order to redistribute the wealth to our enemies abroad and to the protected class parasites within.

We have little left to lose, so those fears are ineffective.
We are living in the future that doesn’t work and daily more and more people realize they have been punked.

This betrayal of truth was done under the leadership and influence of Rove and McCain. If we end up with Romney, we get more of the same.

Obama must be removed from office and for as long as it takes will be exposed, every lie and false front will be laid out for views.

Agreed. It dawned on me this morning that w are going to be stuck with this (___________) for the rest of his life. We'll be paying fr his retirement, his SS, his office space and office staff, ad nauseum. That is why I think that the birthcertifigate must be explored and fully examined, whetther he wins in 2012, or not. He is not eligible to be in office. I want to see him and Moochelle removed and dis-entitled. They have done irreparable harm to this nation.
