One of the worst episodes in my life involved living in a small bedsitter in London during the 1970s. Unbeknowst to me, the landlord rented a flat next to me to a Saudi. Every night he brought English hookers to his flat and screamed at them for hours and hours until I almost had a nervous breakdown.
One night, I went out into the hall and pounded on his door and screamed at him to stop it. Being young and lithe, I quickly returned to my room. I can still remember him running up and down the halls of that damned dump trying to find out which girl had “dissed” him. If he had caught me, I’d probably be dead.
I hate Muslim men. There: I’ve said it. Feels goooood.

Bedsitter...never heard the term, but let me guess. The Yank version of that might be an SRO (single room occupncy) hotel? No room for a chair, so you sit on the bed?
Finally...someone with backbone to stand up publicly and accurately refute Islam and those who defend it. Excellent intellectual denouncement of this false religion.
I don’t think SRO would describe it although it certainly was a dump, lol! It’s a small flat (or apartment) with a room for a bed and chair. Many students and artists live in them. This was in South Kensington which is overrun with them - at least in the 1970s.
Thank you for sharing this. Just last night I watched a video called “Prostitution Behind the Veil” about women in Iran who really feel like they have no choice but to resort to prostitution. How the men justify their own behavior in accordance with the Quran is ridiculous.
The culture of Islam is morally repugnant.

One dark secret under Islam are the issues of homosexuality and paedophilia. We know that the Pashtun tribes along the Afghanistan/Pakistan border use young boys as prostitutes, sometimes quite openly; there are other instances, but they're not talked about openly.
Mine was in Hammersmith. :) I wonder what it’s like in that area today.

I’ve tried to find my old flat in Kensington but I think they’ve been cleaned up. They were very beautiful buildings that had fallen on hard times. Probably due to the socialist nature of Great Britain in the ‘70s. Now it’s a sparkling gem of a city.

No, in the UK it is common to rent a room in a private homes. Some people rent enough to call them a boarding home.
