...Never will a politician in any country ever question governments fiscal management. Even in the Euro crisis, governments expect Germany to bail out all of Europe to ease the immediate pain, but again there is no discussion about revising the system. There is just a presumption that if they get through this shortfall, it will all go back to normal. These people actually believe they can continue to promise the Moon, never pay off...
...Even in the Euro crisis, there are people now blaming Britain for not joining the currency. Some now say to make the Euro work somehow it was Britains fault for not joining and the pretense is that had they joined there would have been greater stability? Or perhaps the real implication is there would have been a bigger pot for bailouts. But there is ABSOLUTELY NO BAILOUT that will save Europe! This whole plan and the typical austerity policy imposed, which has NEVER worked before and CAUSED the Great Depression to a large extent, is tearing the social fabric apart at the seams.
Pat Buchanan commented that when his parents were in hard times they did not riot. There were no social programs prior to the Great Depression so there was no reason to riot against a failed political system. There was the Bonus Army, but that was veterans demanding a bonus they had been promised. Today, it is government that has FAILED the people...

That’s it. Just raise taxes on “the rich”. Or a “jobs program”. A “stimulus”. Just some way to jump start things so we can go back to our ruinous ways. My favorite is “conservatives’ who devise clever tax schemes so as to more efficiently fund the monster. “Conservatives” actually brag that their tax cuts will bring in even more money. As though that’s a good thing. How about cuts that will bring in LESS money Have mercy!!!
Enough is enough. The monster needs to be cut back. Living off of other people is not a way to live. Government can not give everybody a fairy tale life.
The problem is that the embezzlement goes too deep. Lifetime salaries for judges, high public officials being paid enormous amounts of money, huge payoffs once they do leave office - any change in this system will kill the golden cow for too many people.
For most of government, it is no longer about the taxpayer or the voter. It is about serving their real constituency, the public employees.
Congress passes O’bummer Health Care but not before excepting themselves from it first. I think they excepted all federal employees from the health care act.
excepting = exempting
Solyndra is a tax issue.
The criminality lies in the displacement of tax payers from first position in the event of a demise, to last place.
A clear transfer of tax payer money to Obama donors.
Theft and fraud.
Anyone else as mad as I am?
We need hearings to determine who signed off on this.
The (current) administration’s defense argument will be that Congress gave the executive branch the right to negotiate where stimulus funds were spent. True or not, that’s what will be argued.
This current do nothing Congress (gridlocked) will be sure to investigate and investigate some more but unless the dems decided to support ousting the ‘regime’ then nothing happens and the elections will take center stage.
