My sense is that he does really good research and drafting, but is personally ‘different.’ Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

That is why I post my stuff on several different blogsites. The Birther Think Tank is duplicated at Obama:The Opaque Years, and Squeeky Fromm, Girl Reporter is backed up on Posterous. Then I back both of them up to blogger. I almost learned the hard way when the Obots shut down gretawire forum. But sometimes I kind of lose myself trying to keep track of them.

Oh boy. The Justia.com article... oh man.

Anyone who talks about this is branded, but it’s true. I’ve always said it, the man is a plant and he’s ineligible.

But this is just beyond.

Beyond beyond.

Every lefty knows it.

Most righties know it.

That’s what We the People get for allowing the slide down the slippery slope I guess.

Gotta keep moving forward.

"The Natural Born Citizen blog went missing… now it’s back.

Earlier today, I was getting ready to post here about the $1200.00 donation I made on behalf of myself, Steve Pidgeon and the kind readers of this blog to Operation Smile, when I was shocked to see that the blog you are reading now had been shut down. If you visited the blog at about 3:50 PM, you would have been greeted with the following statement:

“naturalborncitizen.wordpress.com is no longer available. This blog has been archived and suspended for a violation of our Terms of Service.”

I immediately complained to WordPress customer service, and within a few minutes WordPress had restored the blog. They sent me the following message:

“Hi,

Our apologies. The system should not have done that.

We have removed the warning in your dashboard and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused.”

I have been very pleased with WordPress. After blogger.com shut me down three years ago (when my Supreme Court case was pending), I switched to WordPress and haven’t had a single problem until today. However, I do not believe this was done deliberately by WordPress. Their fast response/restoration causes me to have faith that free speech is alive and kickin’ here at WordPress where I will keep my blog running.

Regardless, the blog – on its first and last fund-raising drive – received approximately $1450.00 in donations, which I was very very touched by. In the end, Steve and I decided that we would rather donate all the money to a good cause. One soldier donated $100, which I returned to him. Paypal took their cut and there was $1200 and change left which all went to Operation Smile.

Today, I came upon the following video which shows one of these children before and after the operation. It is something that will truly make your heart warm and happy to see. Please watch it. And thank you so much for your kindness towards Steve and I. Now these kids will have a much better life because of your charity.

Oh boy. The Justia.com article... oh man.

It's complete BS, and a good example of how this guy's paranoia gets in the way of his common sense.

There are other examples of citations on the site getting changed during the same time period as Donofrio's example, such as Justia's page for Olmstead v. United States. Here's a screen capture of the page archived from 1/15/2008. Notice the full citation for United States v. Reid? Now here's the archive from 10/1/2008. The name has been removed and the citation number remains, just like Leo Donofrio's example.

There's no big conspiracy. They probably just changed their source for their texts and there were differences.

I checked the Operation Smile on Leo’s blog.

Such a worthy cause.

When I have enough money to give to a candidate, it's going to Bachmann.

If you have something important to say, then pay $5/month, rent your own space, get your own domain, and go.

Great point FromTheSideLines, especially because I just suggested the same thing to rxsid, before I discovered this thread! (referring to what someone, perhaps Moe or Larry, said about "great minds thinking alike")

We, of course, eschew conspiracies, but the possibility that the instantaneous removal was a warning shouldn't be ignored. The technology to control individual free speech is in place. Scribd once had a pointer to a document disappear. Scribd’s server host is Google. After a phone call, the page returned within the hours necessary for page caches to propagate. No one admitted blocking the pointer, but the routers absolutely provide for blocks, just as your firewalls can block any IP address or domain or subdomain.

My wife is a writer, and has her own site. We have it backup up locally, and at the host site. But your suggestion that one keep another URL handy is excellent.

Donofrio is too important to all of us, particularly his insight into the Minor v. Happersett ruling, which nails the objection that natural born citizenship needed to be positive law - that common law is for originalists. Justice Waite was very careful, but why wasn't clear until explained by Donofrio. Like many problems whose solution is not obvious, it became obvious when explained by Donofrio.

I'm probably not the only reader who occasionally backs up Donofrio’s site. But one hopes that Leo does the same. In my case, I use Adobe Acrobat to convert from html to Postscript. Some of the more valuable insights are in both comments, and in Leo's responses to comments. But saving the html file would also work.

Seeing that someone immediately looked at the ownership of Wordpress, thanks. That is a common Alinsky tactic, and if purveyors of free speech don't respect the Constitution, we should know it. There are more who value the 1st Amendment than those for whom the end justifies the means.

Leftists do this to popular conservative (especially Christians) you-tube channels all the time. They are often being targeted by lefties and then taken down by you-tube management. After a lot of trouble, most times the channels are reinstated. You-tube just harasses until targeted politically incorrect people give up.

Google, Facebook and You-tube need competition. They are “progressing” to become tyrants in their monopoly.

Speak for yourself. Anyone who has watched Liberals operate against constitutional freedom in this country, do not “eschew conspiracies” unless they are ignorant people who do not read and digest what they read.

I bounced around from Altavista to Google. I discovered that Wordpress was owned by a company named Automatic, Inc.

When I looked up Automatic, Inc., the first name that popped up was Martin Automatic, Inc., of Illinois. The name martin was small and faint, the Automatic, Inc. was big and bold.

Do you work for Automatic, Inc.?

Thank you for the information.

Since my father was a top executive with a large company, I doubt Mr.Roger Cederholm gives a rip.
