A Historic Day plus one year

In a press conference with Adm. Mike Mullen Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta joyfully announce September 20, 2011 as a “historic day.” This is the day that the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy was repealed. The repeal is a blatant use of the military to shape public opinion and force the homosexual agenda and gay marriage on the American people a la Saul Alinsky.

Shut up!

During the press conference Mr. Panetta said “My hope is that the command structure operating with the standard disciplines that are in place will implement those disciplines and will ensure that harassment doesn’t take place and that all behavior is consistent with the discipline and the best interests of our military.”

He just told the troops to shut up and this is in line with the mandatory training forced on the troops during the repeal process.

Special Rights? Bet on it!

During the conference Adm. Mullen insisted that gay service members will not be granted housing and health benefits for their partners in compliance with the Defense of Marriage Act. Anyone who has paid attention during the last couple of years knows that this Administration flouts laws with impunity. The Admiral’s words are hollow.

Despite the non-assurances this is going to happen: Mark this day, in one year or less, homosexuals will have their marriage recognized, or unwed partners will be allowed to live in base housing, even to the point of ignoring laws of states or countries where they are stationed.

Unmarried Gay couples will receive the same dependent allowance as married heterosexual couples. Soon after that they will demand and receive additional dependent pay that is given to married troops with children.

In one year or less, Gay barracks will be forbidden……. as segregation…..

This is one of the worst assaults on America's military ever undertaken by an American president. Those who brought us this day are evil to the core.

I wish I'd said that!!

We will rue the day that DADT was repealed. Our best people will soon begin parting company with the US military and we will be left with a military that, collectively, couldn't defeat Holland!!

Someone with a spine needs to stand up to leftist political correctness and end it now!! Unfortunately, there's virtually no one on either the GOP or Tea Party side that has the necessary spine.

And it will not stop there. Somehow this will “force” states to recognize married gays, like it or not. I am sure that the repeal of DADT is just part of the agenda.

I’ve been really confused by this “repeal of DADT” issue. I remember when Bill Clinton climbed all over passing it when he first got into office.

Why is it that repeal doesnt mean that we are going back to policies in place before Bill Clinton, but instead are worse encroachments on our military morale???

That’s what I’ve been saying. The repeal of DADT is just part of a larger agenda. The end goal is the destruction of the family and the raising of children by the State as a Collective.

Communist Manifesto:

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

I was a bit shocked at the line “In one year or less, Gay barracks will be forbidden……. as segregation…..”

I thought part of the problem was that they would not be setting gays apart from the other troops in barracks or elsewhere. Are they in fact setting up separate barracks for homosexuals? My quick search didn’t reveal that they were but I didn’t find anything saying they weren’t either...

I can't believe that I'm about to suggest Wikipedia for something but.... Here goes. They actually do have a well written Entry for the repeal. It's not in fact a repeal so much as new legislation. They actually explain it pretty clearly as well as presenting an account for how it happened. At least they did as of a few weeks ago. Nothing persists on the web so it might have changed by now.
