Most of our readers will never go out into public seeking a confrontation. But there is no doubt that trouble will find some of us. Take, for example, Mark LaVelle, a suburban dad and father of four, who was recently attacked by a mob that kicked in his door and beat him while his wife and kids watched and listened from the second floor of their home. I don’t usually mind being corrected for a spelling error, especially if it’s funny (the oil comment made me laugh out loud). iPhones and iPads give typing an added degree of difficulty for me, especially when auto-correct has a mind of its own. That said, the “holier-than-thou” types can get on my nerves.
