Palin's candidacy
Sept. 30, 2011 | Me

Is it possible that Palin is in a kind of standoff with Evita?

I mean... has the abysmal performance of "O", the likelihold of his being ommitted from the next national election and Evita possibly running for the DNC nomination herself, something that has kept Palin from announcing her intentions by now?

Is there an absolute drop dead date for either Evita or Palin to make an announcement one way or another?

“Is there an absolute drop dead date for either Evita or Palin to make an announcement one way or another?”

Any time after the first week of Nov 2012 would REALLY be pushing it, I think.

Palin’s time has come and gone. Hillary has right up until the convention. If obama bails the convention can nominate whomever they please. I don’t expect to see obama on next year’s ballot.

Can’t Palin step up to the plate at the convention, as well?

Be real....Palin really wants a media job....That's what she's comfortable with and her strong point. Her schooling and history were in journalism and communications. She has mastered both....but I think she's not Presidential.

She'll be happy with Fox as a millionaire commentator....and hubby can get back to his fishing and BP.

'Palin's time has come and gone.'

Sez you and you wish. Put your thinking cap on and see if you can come up with some new material rather than parrot the DNC.

Then, as soon as she says she won’t run, she’ll be pressured like crazy to endorse someone of the other candidates.

Palin’s time has come and gone...

There you go again. Your PDS just won't let you go.

October 31.

That’s the deadline to be included on the Florida primary ballot. (Some people are saying Utah and/or Michigan are earlier, but not according to my information.) South Carolina is due the next day.

Once you start missing ballot access, the road gets a LOT harder. If you’re going to run, why put yourself in a hole?

The DNC side is different, though. So much weight is placed on the “super-delegates” that you could miss some primaries and still be well in the running.

You are confusing ‘candidacy’ with ‘celebrity’, Cain, Perry, Romney are candidates Sarah Pain is a celebrity. She couldn’t get reelected mayor of Wasilla now, no one would take her seriously.

Some Info I’ve seen/found:

Utah:
Becoming a Federal Candidate
Office : President
Filing Dates : Between between July 1 of the year before the primary election will be held and 5 p.m. on January 15 of the year in which the primary election will be held

http://elections.utah.gov/register/becoming-a-federal-candidate

Others:
Oct. 31, Florida
Nov. 1, South Carolina
Now. 18, New Hampshire.

Then there is the 3rd party crap and going to a vote in the House.

So what! Ronald Reagan was an actor.

Palin's possibilities today just got much tougher with Fl moving up their primary.

It's time to accept the fact, she will not, and cannot run and win.

You wish Palin’s time would have come and gone, given that your cowboy has peaked already.

She’ll be in soon enough, primarily have to face down Romney—and ready for Barry or Hill.

Reagan was also governor of California who ‘completed’ his term and a declared presidential ‘candidate’ in 1976 (lost to Ford) and 1980, who fought tough primary battles against a Republican establishment that didn’t think he could win. Sarah Palin resigned her governorship and is dancing around the candidacy issue like the cute tenth grader looking for a date to the senior prom....
