Firefox Technical Question

Posted on 10/02/2011 6:54:07 AM PDT by Sprite518

Technical question for anyone.

I have noticed anytime I try to watch a video from Fox News that it will either not load or take a real long time if I load it in Firefox. However, if I use Internet Explorer, then there are no issues. Ditto on ESPN. Therefore, whenever I want to watch a video on one of these two sites I have to go to Internet Explorer to watch. Oh and these two sites never have an issue with Internet explorer?

Every other video web site I go to have no problem loading it in Firefox.

Do I just need to send an email to Firefox or what?

Here are my computer specs... Just in case

Windows 7 Professional Intel Core i5 chip 64 Bit 8 GB RAM 2.5 TBs HD

Check your task manager to see if plugin-container.exe is running. It’s a flash stability manager in the latest versions of firefox.

I was killing mine in the task manager before I understood what it did.

glad to hear it, it is really annoying when stuff like that occurs.

Glad to hear it's all fixed. I have a love-hate relationship with updates. Adobe keeps sending them, Firefox, too.

Why can't we have a government update? Crash, reinstall, and the deficit goes back to zero!

Fierfox works much better than IE9. I can't figure out how to attach Flash to IE9. I can't figure out the geekese instructions. I should never updated IE7 and tried to fix it. IE9 hangs, locks up, is quite slow and not worth having.
