If anyone believed the autocratic arrogance responsible for the infamous MIAC Report was on the wane, rest assured that a believer in absolute authority like Barack Obama will never give up his totalitarian dreams of dominating the American public. Hell just resort to a change of tack.
For those who dont remember the Regimes initial assault on our Constitutional liberties, it was neatly housed in a report entitled The Modern Militia Movement.
Crafted in 2009 by the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC), it presumed to provide the American public with warning signs to help identify the traits and proclivities of the potential domestic terrorist.
Written by one of 58 national fusion centers developed under the Department of Homeland Security during the Bush Administration, the MIAC report profiled as potential terrorists: anyone who supported 3rd party candidates, like Ron Paul or Bob Barr; anti-abortion advocates; members of the Constitution Party or Campaign for Liberty; Libertarians and those displaying signs of militia involvement, such as ownership of a Gadsden (Dont Tread On Me) flag!
Of course, members of the NRA, gun owners and 2nd Amendment supporters clearly merited watching!
But given the national outcry over that ham-handed effort, the White House decided it would be advisable to tone down the overtly fascist rhetoric.
So last month, thanks to Obamas continuing concern for the well-being of his flock, the American people were given a new manual for spying on our neighbor: Empowering Local Partners to Prevent Violent Extremism in the United States.

In my little town, we see everything and nothing.
I live less than a mile from one of the Hutaree members and while I’m not especially fond of him or his ideas, I’d certainly never consider reporting him to the government.
Obama is asking the Muslim communities in the United States to help him watch out for political opponents and to help brand them as threats to the nation.
Guess I will run the Gadsten flag back up on the flag pole today..............
Come and get me, bastids!
I don't think the U.S. Navy is going to take it too lightly to be considered a terrorist organixation.
So there's about one in each state?
(I'm still not 100% clear on the number of states we have now.)
What Good Can a Handgun Do Against An Army?
I don't think I would report anything to the Federales. I would probably report something they didn't want reported and then resist a midnight no knock warrant.
Well, it was an alert citizen that reported the latest attempt to kill soldiers in the Ft. Hood area. He was an employee of the same gun shop that Maj. Hassan bought the guns he used to kill 14 people in Nov 09. Guy, a deserter from Ft. Campbell, bought several pounds of smokeless powder. Something didn’t seem right to him, so he called the local police. They arrested the guy who was said to be about an hour from completing his bomb.
A bomb which he said he was going to use to blow up a restaurant that soldiers frequented. I frequent many of those same restaurants, so that hit pretty close to home.
I was also locked onto post back in November of ‘09.
