That's a respectable response.

Although I strongly disagree with you as to her 'stringing people along' just to promote her marketability. There is nothing in her character displays in the past to give any indication of such and I think you, like others, are basing it on 'typical' disingenuousness and seem to not think she is capable of honesty and sincerity while taking common sense opportunities in front of her. They don't have to be mutually exclusive.

Fair enough. Just think about it this way for a moment. Perhaps you, but certainly most of her most dedicated supporters are SURE Palin is running for President. To even question that at a sight like C4P is met often with hostility. Why are all these people so 100% certain of this? Obviously because Palin has led them to believe, by her comments and actions, that she might be running. She's kept the idea out there, whether you want to call it teasing or not, enough to where the vast majority of her most loyal followers are downright certain. And you know what the most common answer I see from them for why she is running? It's because "she would never have let us think she is running for so long if she wasn't going to". You see that very sentiment right here on FR all the time.

So what happens if she doesn't run? Do you realize the way this was built up, what a smashing let down it is going to be? I'm telling you, it is going to get very ugly. I think Palin let it get out of hand. I think she wants to remain in the spot light. I think she likes it for a whole host of reasons - some more noble than others. If you'd like I will just say I think she wants to remain as influential as possible which means keeping the media paying attention to her. I think the delay at this point is not some strategic preparation to announce when the iron is hot, rather I think it is because she knows the reaction among her supporters is going to be extremely negative - and as such she will, at least temporarily, lose a lot of the media's attention.

The worst case scenario I see, and I have suspicion this is going to happen, is she announces she is not running for the Republican nomination for President and leaves her most die hard supporters believing she might run 3rd party. I just have a hunch she might try to diffuse the situation this way and regard it as method in which the media will have to keep asking her if she is going to break ranks with the GOP and run indie (kind like they do with Trump). I think that would be incredibly sad, because again, I don't think she actually has any such intentions and I believe it will turn even Rush, Hannity, etc, against her and fully destroy her brand.

That's what I think. If I am wrong, I will happily admit it. As I said, if she runs and wins the nomination I will absolutely support her. Even if she just enters the race I will even give her another look and reexamine if maybe I just screwed up and judged her wrong.

I’m still waiting for Palin to get in the race.

I’ll vote R regardless - if I’m forced to - because America will not survive another 4 years of Obama.

Are you having a heart attack?

Angina?

Apoplectic stroke?

Truth is so hard to accept for your kind, but nevertheless, Palin is the only candidate that is in. The others are background chaff thrown up on the wall in an attempt to obscure the picture, but everyone sees it anyway.

The goons that claim she isn’t running are the ones that most know that she is, and they are chewing their own tongues in fear.

Ah, perfect. A crystal clear example of the kind of fanatical, delusional Palin follower I was talking about. Thank you for making my point.

Only Longbow1969 is hysterical.

His very life appears to be in danger, from a ruptured aneurysm or two. Purple faced and frantic, he shrieks out at every Palin fact as though it was a red hot arrow to his thorax.

>> “If they believe Palin is running for President they will suspend her - just like they did Gingrich and Santorum. It’s really not all that complicated.” <<

.
In your imagination.

It is vividly obvious that she is not only running, but is essentially the defacto president elect with the broad support she has. She makes them a lot of money, and suspending her will cost them massively in ratings, and thus in advertising income.

Palin is the biggest advertising draw on Earth right now. If she goes to the store to buy a tube of toothpaste in a strange town, it turns into a rally with hundreds gathered around. If she has coffee in a restaurant, the place becomes a shrine and the owners make a killing off of a casual visit.

Point taken.

But I’ll leave it at this, from my point of view:
1. In the Bible, it says God had to bury Moses, because the fickle and weak people, with sinful hearts would have wanted to take it and enshrine it and worship it (anyone remember the famous video of Ayatollah Khameni’s casket being mash-pitted across thousands of worshippers?)
It’s human nature to crave for a leader, one that will save the people from their mess - and men have risen to do a portion of that but there rightfully IS and only ever will be ONLY One who can and does.
2. Also stated “Don’t trust in the arm of flesh”. Sarah, and she’s humbly admitted as such, is a flawed human like the rest of us, making mistakes and wrongs. But I see certain attributes that ring true of good Godly character, and know that God’s Hand is upon her, for whatever she is meant to rise to do - even becoming President (or not).
3. ONLY God knows, literally, at this point what is in store for her, and what will finally be her decision, so I don’t get discouraged by naysayers - He’s raised up Gideon and others with less when necessary. Neither do I wiffle-dust my desires or hopes into divining something more. But I DO see a battle on different levels.

LOL. Vividly obvious eh? I assume your trying to be serious and probably don't quite realize it, but your posts are so hilariously delusional (and well, just weird) that they continue making the exact point I was trying to get across all along about followers of the cult of Palin.

I am thinking that if Palin is planning a strategic announcement, she would tell Fox to keep quiet her decision to end her contract with them. Sarah may have had Fox keep the option of her ending her contract open based upon how the field of other candidates develops.

On another note, I though that Chris Christie was going to formally announce his decision whether he will run tonight. Maybe it is tomorrow. His entering the race may spur Sarah to make a decision.

Wow; somebody needs to get out more often. Sarah Palin is smart and has some very good insights, but she is not a saint; she has feet that are as clayey as everyone else's and is just as prone to have made mistakes and errors of judgment, including about how to run a campaign (if that's what she's running). It would have been nice to have seen some sort of analysis along those lines show up alongside all of the hero worship.

You take cheap shots at Sarah, the ones that come from the left (half-term governor, etc.) while Oblame-o, junior senator from Illinois, who ran for office before completing his term, and rated the most liberal senator, had no frivolous lawsuits aimed at him.

But then you take it further by attacking editor-surveyor with "wierd" depictions which, if you were a true conservative, you'd know better.

What editor-surveyor has described is a tsunami headed O'Blamo's way that has even those in his tent looking for someone else (Hillary) 'cause even blacks don't like being chastised for wearing slippers.

2012 is for keeps. There won't be any moderates or independents sitting on any fences anywhere. It'll be Time To Choose, baby!

Liberal Left plus RINO Right has been tried for too many years. And look where we are.

America is coming back, and it is pissed!

Sarah is a fighter, a natural social/fiscal/constitutional conservative and the Left is afraid for their lives if and when she gets in. She's been vetted. They've got nothing on her while she's got everything on them, and they're scared sh*tless.

I asked my uber-liberal brother to take a closer look at Sarah and he didn't say anything. But, as brothers, I suspect he will. Let's see: Obama or Palin, Obama or Palin?

Now try: Hillary or Sarah, Hillary or Sarah? See how easy that was. If you can do it, imagine how many millions of others can too.
