campaining = campaigning
You mean he is quitting to make some money? It was always about him or stockholders - never about our country.
From what I heard today, about Cain being upset at his fellow “peeps” for not standing up for the fag who asked a question and got booed kind of turned me off.
I really do like Cain, but as for POTUS, he doesn’t have it.
Still waiting for my gal.
Look at the source closely. The Christian Science Monitor (very liberal) citing someone at NBC speculating based on something some blog said.
Not exactly a trustworthy pattern to conclude he is actually doing that. At that, considering the source and how it is written, I would bet it is actually an out and out bogus report.
It doesn’t matter whether Cain is campaigning or not. His campaign is an exercise in vanity, nothing more. He isn’t a contender and he won’t be a contender and any energy spent on his campaign is wasted.
Remember Sarah Palin’s comment about the flavor of the week?
And I posted somewhere about a pattern I am seeing in the media. What they’re doing is raising our candidates to starlet status one week, and then knocking them down the next. It’s a frontal attack against our candidates. Pure strategy.
Let’s not get to discounting all of our candidates just because the MSM is pulling this hijinks.
I’d be willing though to bet that Sarah is sitting back shaking her head....she can read the MSM and the public’s reaction like a book. She’s not going to enter this fray until us Tea Partiers and republicans catch on to what the MSM is doing to our candidates.
Have you ever listened to any of his speeches?
Is that meant to be a joke?
The One Thing That Can Ruin Herman Cain’s Rise To Contender Status...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I clicked the link expecting to see an up-close of Cain’s mouth.
Between his playing the race card AND supporting gays in the military....
His mouth has written a check ....
We’ll see. That’s what ‘conventional wisdom’ usually is in regards to outsider candidates- people love career politicians and seem to think them altruistic in motives. Rarely though is conventional wisdom true.
It doesnt matter whether Cain is campaigning or not. His campaign is an exercise in vanity, nothing more. He isnt a contender and he wont be a contender and any energy spent on his campaign is wasted.
Oops - you forgot the sarcasm tag, right?
As regards outsider candidates, conventional wisdom has never been wrong. On many subjects it is more of a counter indicator than an indicator. On this one, it’s 100% accurate.
No genuine outsider comparable to Cain has ever won a major party nomination. He won’t be the first. Deal with it.
The only thing standing between Herman Cain and taking off with a substantial lead is inexperience dragging him into silliness. He should start running against Obama now, and forget the rest of the Republican field. He needs to learn the virtue of two words, “no comment.”
Cain probably won’t have any serious impact on the race. If he does it will only be to play the spoiler, benefiting Romney. He’s a distraction and it’s time to return him to the shadows from whence he came.
Well gee, thanks for that. Maybe you could just tell us who to vote for and save us all a lot of time?
Thank you, Mika Brzezinski, for that commentary.
Fluffdaddy’s been pretty consistant today. He posts in all the Cain threads saying that he CAN’T win.
