Rush: Obama Setting Up Country For Riots
Reaganite Republican ^ | October 11, 2011 | Reaganite Republican

Posted on 10/11/2011 1:28:04 PM PDT by Reaganite Republican

As we hear who's behind OWS..

The next question is 'why?'

As is so often the case, Rushbo has some answers:
"This thing just didn't bubble up out of nothing. We now find out George Soros money is behind this, and there's no doubt in my mind that the White House is behind this.

I wish I could tell you who, but a very prominent person asked me to never mention his name in this regard, but for months he has been telling me, "You watch, Rush, do not doubt me," he said to me, "Obama is setting up riots. He is fanning the flames for riots and eventual violence. That's all he's got."

And now you look, all of this talk about millionaires and billionaires and people not paying their fair share and this relentless assault on achievement in this country has resulted in what? The appearance of a spontaneous combustion of angry white college students who are fed up with all the injustices that this country is famous for. That's his base. Occupy Wall Street is his base. Those are his foot soldiers. The anarchists, the union thugs who are occupying Wall Street, Obama is now going to run for reelection against Wall Street, and all of these schlubs in this protest march don't understand that Wall Street and Obama are inseparable.

New York legislators are getting death threats now if they don't tax the millionaires, and my very prescient friend wanted me to say this on the air, wanted me to warn people. "I'm not gonna say that. I'm not gonna predict the president of the United States wants riots," but he was a very, very, very prominent individual; and we're on the verge of it here.  ... But all these people down there occupying Wall Street, this is his base -- and he admitted it! He expressed his solidarity, 'cause those are his campaign foot soldiers down there. He can't turn his back on them this close to the elections... ... It's just the Twilight Zone, alternate universe."

But not to worry, Dear Leader's all ready to keep a lid on any trouble those TEA Party facists might try to bring to
rightfully enraged class warriors:

Then there's those unsettling FEMA camps...

I’m curious, who has the power to declare martial law? Does the president?

Constitution, Article 1, Section 9: "The privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it."

This is the Article of the Constitution dealing with the Congress, so it is a reasonable assumption Congress is given this power, not the President.

Lincoln suspended habeas corpus during the period Congress was not in session, on the plea that the emergency could not wait. Hard to argue with that, actually. He pointed out that if Congress believed his actions were unjustified they could pass a law overriding them or impeach and remove him from office.

Congress can also probably delegate specifics of the suspension to the President, if it so chooses.

Bottom up (insurrection), top down (the people look to the gvt. for protection and they clamp down on everything), inside out (the radicals use the opportunity to change our systems).

We are starting the ‘bottom up’ part and the blueprints are there for the next two steps.

These occupy city movements are coming here to SC according The (fishwrap) State. Supposedly one of the commie journalists there is cheering for it.

Rush and many others need to loudly remind America that there are vast stretches between the cities that don’t stand with the idiots in the cities.

Its one place our conservative media has failed miserably because even they consider places like Oklahoma city, Des Moines, and Pittsburgh to be flyover country when they really aren’t.

In my county, the most populated city has some 25,000 people who are largely more liberal than the 120,000 or so who live outside the city.

I wouldn’t worry about it. From what I have seen of these OWS skanks, our local church’s ladies auxillary could probably take them. We have sport utes and casseroles.

Exactly my point in post 25. I live in a "town" of maybe 150 people in a township with some 2000 people. Somebody needs to remind the urbanites that we backward hillbillies are not to be trifled with and carry considerable weight.

They need this to disrupt the election. This is to get everyones attention fill the ranks some more and then send in the heavy hitters to do the damage and start the ball rolling. This will be the excuse they need for martial law and the postponement of the election. What does this man have in his corner to run on? This for him is a do or die

Forget the rest of ‘em. They don’t have the insight, intelligence and core constitutional understanding and teaching abilities that these two do.

You are sadly mistaken. Glenn has been light years ahead of Rush on this.

Agreed. Unless there is a MAJOR emergency like a nuke detonation, a run on banks, or a combo like that.

They need this to disrupt the election.

That's kind of my point. There will be no rioting in thousands of rural communities across America and someone needs to remind them in Washington that there would be no need to disrupt elections for those of us experiencing no unrest.

Yep. The trust fundies may not be willing to martyr themselves but they aren't bright enough to know that they aren't in charge and those who are, will sacrifice as many of them as it takes.
