It is going to be interesting when he passes out the tasks and finds out that federal departments, agencies institutions won’t have the budget to do their jobs AND his additional tasks. If program directors exceed their budgets, there is a possibility they can suffer serious personal consequences including, in some cases, prison. Now, if I’m a manager in a federal agency, program or institution, and I receive a new task without the budget to carry it out, which am I going to do—my prescribed tasks or my new task? The screw you—you go to prison if you want principle will no doubt take over. And Obama suffers another serious set back.
