Earthquake? Governor Palin Changes Facebook Status From ‘Republican’ to ‘Conservative’
Conservatives4Palin ^ | Friday October 14, 2011

Ok guys … Is this just a minor thing? Or a big deal? I’ll let you speculate on what it means ….

Here’s the news reported by the Sarah Palin Blog:

I was walking through the grocery store earlier today when I received a text message from a close friend asking me if I had taken note of the change on Sarah Palin’s Facebook page.  I confessed that it had been an exceptionally busy day and that I had not looked at Palin’s page today.  My friend then brought to my attention that under the “Info” link, Palin’s political views have been changed from “Republican” to “Conservative”.  For a brief moment, it didn’t phase me as I am also a registered Republican but I chose to list “Conservative” on my Facebook page as my own political view because in my eyes, it more aptly describes my values.

I suppose one could draw a multitude of conclusions regarding this status change. I know that I certainly have. You can be certain that any move Sarah Palin makes has been well thought out and is with purpose.  Could she possibly be sending a message to the RNC that they need to strengthen the conservative planks of the Republican party?  Perhaps her promise of “sudden and  relentless reform” as addressed in her Indianola speech and more recently in her October 7th St. Louis speech is a sign that as in the past, neither party is safe from her scrunity.

One thing is for sure, time will tell.

Cain has been vetted by those of us here in Georgia. The elites are scared of him and that tells us what we need to know.

I am thinking if Obama wins this time there will be a third party in 2016. A lot of x republicans will be in it.

ROTFLMAO!

Sarah Palin is...wait for it...for Sarah Palin!
That is not a bad thing, and I actually applaud her for it.
You go girl!

OTOH, Sarah Palin is not really a true Republican.
She is cashing in on her current media hyped fame/infamy.
She will play the media game, and eventually state her support for one of the two RINO candidates.

I don't care who she says she supports.

No, she’s said she won’t do third party, and for all the right reasons - for now. But this is a shot across the bow of the party elites, one we all feel; the establishment GOP is being put on notice.

Their pushing Mitt on us is going to be the last straw. Can’t do much about it now, with little time to work with, but the old Republican guard has got to go!

They could reform the Democratic-Republican Party, and get 1% of the vote every election from the DC insiders/lobbyists/media. Then the far left commie party could get 10%, and the Tea Party wins every election 80%+ of the vote. :)

A man can dream.

Just in the last few years I discovered that I am not a Republican. The only Democrat I ever voted for was Pete Geren, a Texas Dem. I’m a conservative that happens to vote Republican. The Eastern elites are destroying the party and I want nothing to do with it. The Tea Party has thrown a large wrench in their machinery.

I am glad this distinction has been made. I keep wondering why the reps in congress allow us to be involved in Libya & Uganda. How do they affect us? Please Mr Ryan bring our guys back from Africe before they arrive. This is not in our national interest.

Yep, they're even trying to move all of the primaries up to insure Their Man Myth gets the nod. I'm sure Sarah is disgusted with this, as well.

Mr Ryan, ask Obama why he allows Christians to be slaughtered in Egypt and does nothing?

" The Tea Party has thrown a large wrench in their machinery."

It certainly has! If I could register as a Conservative, I'd drop the Republican party like a bad habit.

According to Anita Perry, Jesus likes Rick Perry better than anyone.

Sarah’s plum out of luck.

Same here. After 30 years as a Republican I recently registered as an Independent. It was hard to do at first but now I’m happy I did.
