The Simplest Thing in the World to Understand: Why There Isn't Israel-Palestinian Peace
Rubin Reports ^ | Barry Rubin

Media, "experts," and governments finds it very hard to understand an amazing phenomena. No matter what they offer to the Palestinian Authority (PA)--even if it includes money, concessions, and steps toward statehood--the PA says "no."

I wouldn't even bother to write this since the answer seems so simple but a lot of people who are paid to deal with this stuff don't get it. So let me elucidate: The PA wants everything, an independent state on all the West Bank, Gaza Strip and east Jerusalem with no restrictions, no recognition of Israel as a Jewish state, no serious security guarantees, no limits on militarization, no agreement that this means an end of the conflict, no insistence that Palestinian refugees be resettled in the state o Palestine, and nothing to prevent them from pursuing a second stage of wiping Israel off the map entirely.

Rubin is absolutely right. And he could even state the matter more clearly: for the PA, “peace” = control of Jerusalem, West Bank, everything; and the ONLY way that can happen is through Jihad.

Same reasoning can be used to explain why there will never be peace again in the West as long as Islam is part of its population.

When “peace” comes be afraid; be very afraid.

Unless I am mistaken in the blessing of Ishmael ,the concubines son, Abraham said something about he would be a man of the sword , and his hand would be against every man—and every mans hand would be against him and his seed. But he would be father to many nations.Seems easy to understand modern history if one understands the blessings and the curse. In similar blessing it seems promised that the Lord said “I will bless those that bless you —and curse those that curse you. “It would seem pretty hard to say these have no meaning.
I cannot imagine the Muslim as a blessing for Jerusalem— The PA seems a curse to world itself their hand against everyone -and every ones hand against them. the very embodiment of what is written.

you are both very correct.
it is much simpler than even Rubin says.

it has nothing to do with nationalism, etc.
it is simply religious.

Muslims are forbidden to accept a non-sharia government.
and especially, once a land has been under the control of Islam, it can never be tolerated under non-Muslim control.

Israel will NEVER be accepted or tolerated, by ANY true devout Muslim, whether ficticious “Palestianian”, or other.

Muslims can make “temporary” peace treaties.
but permanent peace with Israel, is simply impossible.
haram.

There is no peace, because the Koran demands that Muslims kill every Jew on earth so Allah will come back and judge the world. The Koran also tells them to lie to infidels so that they can spread Islam, and to take over the world.

So, as long as there is Islam on earth, there will be no peace. Negotiating with them serves only to enrich and strengthen their goal of wiping out all infidels.

The PA, Hamas, Hizbollah, Islamic Jihad, and the rest of the criminal gangs that make up the PLO have to be exterminated. Since the ethnically undifferentiated Arabs squatting on Israel's lands support the PLO, they are complicit, and there's no such thing as collateral damage. Fight the war, get it over with, don't keep dragging it out generation after generation.
