I was leafing through one of those high end glossy magazines - the kind that sell expensive clothing, jewellery and watches - and noticed a strange pattern. Most of the female models, the ones who were smiling (or pouting) had buck teeth.

teeth???
Sorry, but you noticed her teeth???
It’s not natural for the teeth to meet exactly on point of the incisors. A slight overbite is natural. Only a couple of these models have what I would consider a severe overbite or buck teeth.
That’s interesting! My 14 year old daughter has an overbite and we don’t have the money to get her braces. I’ve always felt bad about it, but now I see that she might have a career in modeling! :-)
Back around 1965 I met a professional photographer, a successful one too.
We were discussing models and he told me what photographs best. The only thing I remember is he said they should have slightly buck teeth.
Of course he said slightly, not big buck teeth.
Bah....who knew I was a trend setter? I’ve had the stubble look for years because I hate shaving every day.
Can you pls describe the models in more detail?

My daughter is almost 20. One of her front teeth is crooked and I felt horrible for not being able to get it fixed for her. (We gave her a choice: We can buy you a car or get your teeth fixed. She told us to help her with transportation so she could get a job, then she’d fix her own teeth.)
She doesn’t mind it though. “Nobody’s ever looking at my teeth!” :)
Get a comb and buy a razor. Do chicks like that crap?
You are right about the stubble, wrong about the teeth.
None of those models/actresses show (including the sexy
Jessica Simpson) has buck teeth. What you’re seeing is evidence of the new imperative for this kind of fashion
photography you see in upscale mags-—they’re ALWAYS supposed to keep their lips parted, never closed. Lips parted adds to the allure, for obvious reasons.
Now stop complaining about buck teeth, and start attacking
real problems like cellulite!
behind a firewall......and she has stubble too ?
As someone who has had way too much spent on orthodontics, having an overbite isn’t that unusual.
I had to have several sets of braces as well as oral surgery, and the results left me with a slight overbite as well.
My parents had an overbite and an underbite respectively, my dentist laughed that the fact that two people with such mismatched jaws would have children.
As for the guy being buck toothed, did he suck his thumb or.........
WOW! Just WOW...... LMAO!
Personally, stubble on a mans face looks like someone who can’t commit. Either shave it off, or go full beard. None of this half way stuff. (IMHO). ;-)
I’m partial to beards, myself.
need more evidence
