...Fisker's government loans will come from a $25 billion program established by Congress in 2007 to help auto makers invest in the technology to meet a new congressional mandate to improve fuel efficiency. In June, the DOE awarded the first $8 billion from the program to Ford Motor Co., Nissan Motor Co., and Tesla, which are all developing electric cars...
2007; and just who was the patrician, noblesse oblige, meet-em'-halfway, go-along-to-get-along, RINO dips**t who signed off on that program? Like the light bulb mandate? Like the ethanol mandate? Who, I ask? Who?

Fisker CEO Henrik Fisker just happened to be there too and pitched Gore on the virtues of his 50 mile-per-battery-charged, $89,500 Karma luxury sedan.
I wonder how much pollution is created by the power plants providing the electricity for each recharge. Karma is right. What goes around comes around but it's going to need a recharge before it does.
