All this crap—when Obama smokes like a chimney. You’d think the EPA would shut him down.

Has anyone thought that Cain is trying to appeal directly to the smokers of this country? Smokers have been attacked like few other (besides Christians) by the nanny-state Left. The smoker here is also a symbol for not just smokers, but for everything the nanny-state has over-regulated, over-taxed, and persecuted.

The ad is brilliant. Just brilliant.

My only qualm is that the guy doesn’t appear to be much of a smoker. You can barely see any smoke he exhales.

(Full disclosure - I don’t smoke.)

Now I'm worried.

Although I don't give a rat's patoot what David Brooks thinks about anything, it is pleasant to see a few folks smart enough to avoid the ridiculous apoplectic response to Cain's 'smoking' TV ad. Cain is running an unconventional campaign and while the jaded Beltway pundits, mired in their ossified politics-as-usual mindset, scoff and sneer, Cain keeps rising in the polls.

I've noticed that the leftmedia are beginning to pull out the old playbook and are resorting to mocking Cain and trying, desperately, to portray him as a loon, unfit for the presidency. Luckily for America, the left pretty much used up all their credibility with years of doing the same crap to Sarah Palin with absolutely no basis in fact, just hatred of a normal, striving American wife and mother who didn't toe the liberal line.

Few Americans take the leftmedia very seriously, anymore. The attempt to marginalize Herman Cain will fail. He is clearly intelligent, well-educated, personable and has a lot to offer beyond '999'. His rise in popularity is no fluke. He must have the Obama gang scared to death. A genuine Black man, born and raised in America. A man who worked hard and actually achieved substantial success in life, unlike Obama, a total phony.

Only thing that would have improved it would have been him tossing a curly light bulb in the dump. He’d get even more votes from that, I think.
