Yep me too, I’m done with Coke for the foreseeable future.
I always thought the mascot was cute, but Coke (and a lot of other Corporations) needs to remove it’s head from it’s a$$.
I grew up drinking Coca-Cola. When they made the switch to that hideous “New Coke”, I left, and came back to Coke Classic. But the Coke being sold today isn’t the same. I think they ended up slipping parts of that “new” formula back in. I have switched to 90% Pepsi, 9% Dr.Pepper, and 1% Cheerwine (when I can get a care package from Charlotte).
People keep asking me why I still drink soda, or pop if you prefer, and I tell them because it’s the last vice I have left!.
I can still remember my Mom telling me years ago that Coke was a Democrat drink, and Pepsi was a Republican drink. I don’t know what her basis for this was, but she was a lifelong Republican, as was her family so I took her word for it.
