Mark Levin: Politico Is A "Phony Website ... Not News, It's Leftism"

Mark Levin slams Politico for what he says is a smear against Herman Cain. Levin also goes on to lambaste Kenneth P. Vogel, a writer that contributed to Politico's story against Cain.

"This guy is a hit man dressed up as a reporter," Levin said about Vogel. "In fact, this entire political site, Politico, is a phony website that might as well be run by MoveOn.org or the Daily Kos. It's not news, it's leftism."

Later in his program, not included in this clip, Levin says Politico is the "Barack Obama Campaign Website."

Cain screwed up handling this attack. But damit it’s time to stand up for your friends. Even when they screw up;

These accusations may or may not be true. My gut is that Cain might have stepped over some line that existed at the time but, my gut also says the entire thing was probably overblown even then.

I don’t know about all you ‘perfect people’ out there but, I’ve certainly made a joke or a quick quip at the office that I wish I could have back.

In the end, after the Clinton/Lewinski blow-up in the 90’s, sexual scandals just don’t register with me anymore. If Clinton gets a pass, so should everyone else as far as I’m concerned. The precedent has been established that it’s between the two parties involved...end of story.

It is a phony news site. Several of it's writers are JOURNOLISTERS.

Political Camapaign contributions can come two ways...Money or Services in kind to which a dollar ammount can be assigned.

Articles published in this and other media should be listed as another “unreported (cite an ammount) service in kind” campaign contribution.

This particularly applys to radio and other government regulated media. It also should apply to media forms which purport to be independent or un-biased.

“If Clinton gets a pass, so should everyone else as far as I’m concerned.”

The reason it’s different is that rats don’t pretend to be in favor of sexual morality, in fact, quite the opposite.

Your point is well made but, a precedent is a precedent. Notice how NOW and other liberal groups are silent on this issue? This is because they all fell on the sword to save Clintons ass back in the 90’s. Cain is in the clear, (guilty of smarmy behavior or not), as long as he handles the situation well.

To me, he should just say something like, “Yes, I grabbed that one womens ass at a dinner party and I also invited that other co-worker to my room after a conference even though we were both married”.... He should then say, “I made an ass out of myself and it’s a real regret. I was a stupid fool.”

Most of us probably have not done that kind of stuff in our lives but, we all have a regretful expereince or two in our past, right? None of us is perefect. If he would just say this, it would be over in a minute.
