Obama slams congress for wasting time on 'In God We Trust' (Video)

Absolutely outrageous. In God We Trust is a waste of time to this president. "In the house of Representatives...You've had legislation reaffirming that In God We Trust is our motto? That's not putting people back to work" Obama says at his jobs speech today in the D.C. area.

Last time I checked, our form of government was a "democratic republic" and not a "democracy". That being the case, we have certain "unalienable rights" granted to us by our Creator that cannot be taken from us, even should a democratic majority desire to do so. As such, I would say "In God We Trust" is an understanding paramount to enjoying Freedom in this nation. The concept of which is beyond the pay grade or level of intelligence possessed by Obama. He is foreign to our culture, and understanding, and way of life. I don't expect him to understand the importance of our National Motto because he is not one of us and does not represent our interests.

If we had a real Speaker, he would tell Obama that it is the President's job to do what Congress tells him to do; not the other way around.
