little Friday morning comedy courtesy of The Hill:
Ive been as consistent as human beings can be, the presidential candidate said in a meeting with the editorial board of New Hampshires Seacoast Media Group. I cannot state every single issue in exactly the same words every single time, and so there are some folks who, obviously, for various political and campaign purposes will try and find some change and try to draw great attention to something which looks like a change which in fact is entirely consistent.
Im not sure if Romney actually believes this nonsense, or if he thinks Republican voters are stupid (given his status as frontrunner, he may be right). Or perhaps he considers his consistent inconsistency to be entirely consistent. I would have paid big money to see the looks on the faces of the editorial board when Mitt uncorked this billowing cloud of methanous gas. Im guessing at least one of them had to rush home for a change of drawers. In any event, this is either extremely funny or extremely scary. I know I laughed when I read it. Loud enough that my wife ran into the room to see if I was OK. (Incidentally my drawers didnt need changing, though it was a near thing). However, it wont be so funny if Republicans nominate this guy. If this is how Mitt plans to rationalize his many years of flip-flopping on practically every issue under the sun, Obama wont need half of the billion dollars hes planning on raising for his re-election campaign.
Man is he ever far gone. Nothing could penetrate that bewilderment.
No Mitt, you didn’t support Reagan in 1976, 1980 or 1984. You’re a draft avoiding ass wipe, and your five husky sons are cowards.
You read my mind. I was driving down the road today, wondering just who the twenty-something percent of Republicans are, who support this liberal?
I mean, how ill-informed to you have to be, to support the former governor of a north-east liberal state, who signed into law the nation's first government mandated health program, and the man who LOST the 2008 nomination to John McNuts????
Being as stupid as mittwitt is... he confused HOMO SAPIEN with HOMO CRAPien... the latter of which he is a member in good standing.
POST OF THE DAY!
Seems to me like Mitt is saying “I’ve not NOT been inconsistent’’.
What I cannot get is his biggest block of support is Republican WOMEN? What do they see in Romney?
Oh... and here is one for you to explain mittwitt... you willard babykilling pos progressive marxist:
“I was never part of the Reagan Revolution... I never believed in it”.
mitt fos romney
I think stupid and liberal covers most topics.
Those Republican women don't listen to talk radio, don't watch the Sunday news shows, don't read at American Spectator or Human Events, and don't read at Free Republic.
All they know about Mitt, is that he had something to do with rescuing the Olympics, and that he's a former Governor. Oh, and he's got great hair and gleaming white teeth. Other than that, nada.
He's got lots of money. For Rove, it all started as a wee lad, with that $5 Romney stuffed in his shirt pocket...
Written in H.S. Yearbook: "I love Mittens!"
How’s you platypus duck, Bill?
-—ROMNEY MAKES KERRY LOOK HONEST.-—
Wow, that’s a pretty low blow....
I’m no mittens fan....but that’s a bit harsh
Romney is just as consistent as the Book of Mormon has been over the past 180 years and has made just about as many changes.
They call him Flipper, Flipper....
Hey, Willy-Rom-Rom-RINO! If you are a Conservative, then what are you trying to Conserve?
As a human being he eats, sleeps, talks, and craps. Is he an outer space alien that needs to remind humanity that he has also been consistent when impersonating human beings?
