“A discussion on Socialist Feminism and Anarchism, which asks, “How can capitalism and the state be abolished?”

I guess that’s about not reporting rape to the cops

It sounds like the lunatics want to run the asylum. I guess they can’t screw it up any worse than Barry and his ‘RATS did. There’s really nothing left for them to screw up.

The day they take their laptops, iPhones, iPods, Cash Machine cards, Kindles, and HD TVs and make a huge bond-fire of them in West Lake Center - that is the day I take their message seriously. Until then they are just a bunch of zombies protesting just because everyone else is.

So my question to the Grand Numbnut that is promoting “Anarchy” and the end to the Capitalist System, When someone comes up to you, stabs you in the chest to take your IPhone (if it still works) what WILL YOU DO?

Blatant idiocracy.

Perhaps Obama can be a guest speaker...I seem to recall in the book "Dreams..." which was ghost written by Bill Ayers, that Barry was drawn to the “structural feminists” amongst the other ding dongs in college.

I love that Rudy Giuliani made it clear that this "Occupy" crap was nurtured by Obama and it he will have to OWN IT as it devolves into the violent, disgusting, Anti-American crap-fest that it is heading towards..

“How can capitalism and the state be abolished?”
What’s so dumb is that assuming they succeeded in abolishing the state, a truly free market would immediately spring up, in which people would trade whatever they had a surplus of, for whatever they needed that someone else had extra of.
The only way you can abolish capitalism, is by totalitarian state control, as amply evidenced by every socialist/communist dictatorship in history.
If you abolish the state, you have totally un-regulated capitalism. If you abolish capitalism you have a totalitarian state.
This is exactly the kind of disconnect from reality one would expect from these oblivious lame brains.

You have to understand that when a Communist Anarchist talks about "abolishing the State", what he really means is "abolishing the mechanisms for protection of private property".

They want mob rule. They want the mob to be able to seize anything the mob wants, without hindrance. They think this is a good thing because they are arrogant enough to think that THEY would be in control of the mob, as the mob seizes the property of "the rich".

A planned economy is most attractive to those with the arrogance to think they would be in the planning class.

The youthful and enthusiastic: sitting around and watching entertaining movies, listening to strange music & contemplating their navels
The aged and treacherous: polishing our feed ramps, educating one another and working out (my big dog walked me three miles today)
24-7 baby!

I am fully prepared to be a mob of one until the ammo runs out.

And stopping by Cabela's to pick up another 4 or 5 hundred rounds.

These bastards are fomenting anarchy and the overthrow of our country. How far will they let it go before the people take over and spank their sorry asses?

Explore the philosophical differences between these two schools of thought and action: How can capitalism and the state be abolished? Who will do it and how? What about a party?

Aah, their true intentions bleed through to the surface...

You may be able to plan a mob, in the beginning, but after that it will behave, well, like a mob. As such, the mob will decide for itself what to take from whom.

Look at what they have done to the public property they have already taken. That will be the eventual result for any property under anarchy.

I don’t think we have much to fear from the hackey-sack/drum beating crowd, but some of us remember the rioting from the late 60s—the National Guard in the cities, even on the steps of the Capitol.
The thing that concerns a lot of us (I think) is that there are quite a number of these older adolescents congregating in urban areas, even here in `America’s Hometown’ (Muncie) even though they are something of a joke: the county commissioners turned off the power to the one recepticle they were using, and they aren’t happy. “The electricity belongs to all of us!” Somehow a bench was burned up, so the half dozen had to move.
They can protest peacefully, subject to reasonable time & place restrictions; they certainly cannot break laws because they believe themselves to be in France circa 1848.
I think the anarchistic element of these young people should consider that `the law,’ the system, the establishment, is the only thing standing between them and some of the more, um, demonstrative members of our society who disagree vehemently with them (the “Occupiers”) and may also believe that they as well should not be subject to the law. Anyway, I’m off to bed.
But first a parting thought: the 1st Amendment freedoms of speech and association helps makes it easier for us to identify the idiots among us. But “idiots” is a word of Greek origin meaning, `one not participating in politics or contributing to the polis’. So I’ve left us both with a puzzle. Good luck with that and keep in mind that “callow” is an adjective to goes naturally with “youth.”

Hacky sack, drum beating crowd. This OWs movement is part of what is called, the Black Bloc, if you remember the Battle for Seattle, you know who these people are and what they are capable of.

The ILWU are a big part of the OWS movement on the West Coast. They have been planning a shut down of the the West Cost Ports since before the Sept 10 Day of Rage. The Big Government web site has video of the ILWU member stating that the action is being taken in unity with their brothers in Longview, WA.

The Vigilante Lens, an Anarchist site, describes the role that the ILWU is playing in the OWS, since Sept.

SSA = ILWU = Black Bloc Anarchists.

If you don’t know who the Black Bloc are, there is a web site called, Black Bloc for Dummies.

Being a Seattlite myself, I know this sounds very much like the kind of people we have to deal with here. This doesn’t surprise me one bit, -I have to live with them. So far I have been able to completely ignore them, which is what the media should also be doing.
