Not Fair or Balanced: Britt Hume says Cain is all but done as serious candidate
Fox & CNN | November 7, 2011

Posted on 11/07/2011 8:07:27 PM PST by Luther1917

Was watching Greta Susteran a few minutes ago and Britt Hume basically said to stick a fork in Cain, he's done. He also said Cain will get no higher in the polls and this latest allegation has killed his candidacy. The old RINO prognostitor in all his glory. RINO Rove came on Hannity a few minutes later and said basically the same thing. Cain is done. BLAH, BLAH,BLAH.

It's amazing how establishment Fox never has a disparaging this to say about Romney, but jumps all over this bogus story from this blonde bimbo today as showing Cain is done.

RINO Ari Fletcher said the same thing on CNN. But he went on to say he never thought Cain had a chance to start with. His talking partner was the martian James Carville, who said Cain never had a chance and was never a serious candidate to start with. Carville also flatout said the Perry camp is responsible for starting the story.

So there it is. It does not matter that Cain has doubled up on Romney in Iowa, leading him by 15% pts. For all Fox cares, Romney is the man, and will be even if he's polling 10% to Cain's 30.

“...just to make Hume look like a moron.”

HE doesn’t need your help for that, but Mr Cain does.

I have no crystal ball... but I do remember when chucky krauthammer... fred bbbbbarnes and britt were all pontificating that mccain was finished... mara liason agreed and said he would be out soon... they chided that he had few supporters and about 15 reporters at every stop.

We all know how that turned out. britt said exactly what roger ailes wanted him to say.

This is why I rarely if ever turn on Fox News or any other tv news. I know as much as most of those dunderheads, and I guarantee I have a stronger track record of predictions. Most Freepers do, for that matter.

The Fox political team is neck deep in people who haven’t operated outside of the beltway in decades.

Before she announced she wasn't running, FNC was constantly trashing Sarah Palin.

Contrary to the opinion of some delusional FReepers, there's nothing conservative about FNC.

Wrong, which is why he is leading the race, and leading after this fake story. It is also why he has surpassed experienced politicians like Perry, Bachmann, Gingrich, and Santorum.

Interesting how Cain is ‘gaffe prone’, but nary a word about Romney coming out against the Ohio collective bargaining reform of Kasich and the Republicans. The one issue that is THE battle of the decade, and one where we have been winning in state after state, and Romney sides against us. But it is Cain that is flawed.

He’s alot more ready than Barack Hussein Obama ever was. I’m sick of “politicians” and so are true conservatives. We could care less about these sleazy lies. I’m doubling down on my support for him. RINOs are scared to death of true conservatives.

I had to turn off Hume, and when Greta said Rove was next I just laughed. Like there’s anything he has to say that I’d be the least bit interested in!

Any repubs who still fall for the MSM smear campaigns against our best candidates,,,are there still any who fall for it? I hope not. If they do they should join their intellectual peers in the demorat party.

When Hume started saying that sexual misconduct might be OK with dems but not repubs, I wanted to scream “BUT CAIN IS INNOCENT!” and “Britt, WE are not falling for the lies spewed by the likes of Politico and Gloria Allred and the rest of the ususal suspects!”.

I donated twice to Herman so far. Last week being the most recent time. I swear I am going to donate again this week just to prove WE DON’T LET THE MSM and DC ELITES pick our candidates.

Whom ever they smear, is who they fear and our best candidate.

So thanks MSM and other evil doers, you confirm that Herman is the best man for the job.

Cain is an innocent man.
His accusers, liars that they are, are an instrument of the devil.

May God protect Mr.Cain and also expose the liars for what they are.

They are all bought and paid for. Kids in the same schools, couples working in media and politics, trust fund babies. Quite rancid.

Amen to that.
I am sickened at what Mr.Cain is being put through.

God bless Herman Cain, and may God confound the liars and bring them to justice.

If they EVER think they are going to eek out a vote from yours truly in November 2012 for Romney after they relentlessly smeared and depressed the votes for decent conservative man out, kicking him of the race (if that is what eventually happens) they have another think coming. I'll damned well vote Conservative Party if I have to. I see no essential difference between these traitorous RINOS and treasonous Euro-Socialist Democrats.

And I will not countenance an OUNCE of "but but but you will elect Obama!!" from Young Repubicans on here. Believe me. Smearing Cain is what will have elected Obama. Nominating McCain II (Romney) is what will have elected Obama.

I watched Fox less and less, starting in 09. For the last 6 months I only watched Fox when Sarah was on and a few Greta shows. Since Sarah announced she wasn't running, I have not looked at FOX at all.

I have less stress since I quite watching FOX. FOX is mostly a bunch of elitist pigs yapping and trashing Conservatives.

Which pretty much makes you wrong.

Let's see, one of the times I had people telling me this very thing was when the majority here seemed to believe that flake Christine O'Donnell could actually win a statewide election in Delaware. Considering she lost by like 18 points, I think we all know who was right on that one.

Another one of those times was when I said Sarah Palin was not going to run for President even though the majority seemed convinced she was. Again, we all know how that one turned out.

Cain will not be the nominee because the majority of Republican primary voters won't want to commit electoral suicide and nominate a guy who has absolutely no chance to win a general election.

None of our choices this time are all that good, but the only candidates that can realistically stop Romney the chameleon are Newt and maybe Perry. Considering Perry can't communicate coherently yet, I am leaning towards Newt - however imperfect he is, he may be the only realistic option at this point.
