Not really. I like Cain - I love his direct, non politician responses and the verse he sang last week at the National Press Club was very moving - he has a fantastic voice. Personally, I prefer hearing someone sing in the White House than hearing someone play the saxophone.

The reality is running for the top spot with no electoral experience is a tough assignment. Having written that, I realize our current president had little experience and that Cain beats Obama when comparing resumes. FWIW, I think voters tend to vote for something different and I think most voters are aware of Obama's lack of experience and probably won't want to vote another candidate in with the same lack of experience. That is why voters love to choose governors for the presidency. It does make sense and is rational.

I really don't like what the media can do to good people like Sarah and Herman...and I do think Cain is a good person and I would like to see him survive, if only to prove the media is not all powerful. I would like to know that, but I am not certain if the media isn't. If Cain does not make it to the nomination, I would like it to be because the voters chose based on ideas versus media fallout.

Cain’s got my vote...if for no other reason than that which your post has simply and succinctly addressed - and that it pisses off those sheeple who are willing to be led by the nose by DNC media whores and tell us who is “electable” or not. Those same JACKASSES who claim to hold our candidates to standards they themselves have never possessed, while overlooking the vile deeds of their DNC masters. Other than Beck, I haven’t watched Faux News or their sniping DUmocrat talking heads in years.

Well, let me say this. If Herman Cain, a real conservative, is the nominee, he will energize the conservatives in this country and they will come out in droves to vote for him and drive Obama out of office. Romney absolutely can’t energize enough conservatives for him to beat Obama. Cain would also cut into the black vote. There are many black conservatives in America, but most keep their mouth shut for fear of being ridiculed. If Cain wins the GOP nomination he will be the next president of the United States. In the day and age of the Tea Party, Romney will not be the next president.,

Well said. The elites and Marxists know if Romney is the nominee, it will be clear sailing for Obama. I will do a write in if Mitt is the nominee. (However, I think Cain will beat Mitt)

I agree, Cain will crush Obama in the general. People are itching to express their anger through the ballot box. I pray the RINOs, elitists and Marxists are all sent packing in Nov 2012.

Goodness knows we should trash him because he isn’t as polished as Joe Biden or as skilled as Barry Obama without his teleprompter. Give me a break.

How come to the “establishment thinking” our conservatives are never “ready” but the biggest morons on the planet from the left walk all over us and are always “ready”

Just who in your mind is “ready”? I could list condemnations against every candidate with this reasoning, including Gingrich. Seems the only one ready in this way of thinking is “Romney”.
