Planned Parenthood Charges Dropped as Sebelius Destroyed Records
Life News ^ | 11/9/11 | Steven Ertelt

Posted on 11/09/2011 4:26:30 PM PST by wagglebee

A Kansas judge ordered some of the 107 charges filed against Planned Parenthood for engaging in illegal abortions and covering up those cases thanks to the destruction of records that took place during the Sebelius administration.

The case with 107 charges against Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri came about when former state attorney general Phill Kline brought the charges after obtaining evidence in patient records showing Planned Parenthood committed illegal late-term abortions and then manufactured documents to cover up their crimes. The charges allege the abortion business potentially engaged in illegal abortions and violated state record-keeping laws.

Kline, as the then Johnson County District Attorney, filed 107 charges, including 23 felonies, against the abortion business for allegedly violating state law.

However, news surfaced last month when AP reported that the Kansas health department in 2005 destroyed the state late-term abortion reports at the heart of the felony charges against Planned Parenthood. The pre-trial hearing for felony “false-writing” charges had been scheduled for Monday Oct. 24, Since the original reports have now been discovered as destroyed, the Johnson County District attorney’s office had asked for a delay so they could engage other witnesses to verify the authenticity of copies of the state reports.

The delayed shifted the hearing to today and, during the hearing, Judge Stephan Tatum dismissed some of the charges after giving prosecutors until today to see if they could find evidence to authenticate the records.

Planned Parenthood was also charged with multiple misdemeanor counts of failing to test the viability of unborn children before doing late-term abortions, which are banned after viability in Kansas. Those charges remain and motions on them will be heard on February 22. In total, the judge dropped 49 charges against Planned Parenthood, including 23 felonies, while 58 misdemeanor charges move forward.

“Kline had obtained those records from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment when he investigated Planned Parenthood during his tenure as Kansas attorney general,” AP indicated. “Planned Parenthood later provided copies of the documents, but Kline contended that they did not match the ones that he got from the state for abortions performed in 2003. The records deal with reports that Planned Parenthood must file for each abortion. Planned Parenthood keeps one copy in the patient’s file and sends another to state health officials.”

“Prosecutors contended that Planned Parenthood had not kept copies of the records for five years, as required by law, and committed a felony by recreating them when they were requested. Prosecutors wanted to prove the records obtained by Kline were the same as those that had been filed with the state and different from the alleged copies Planned Parenthood later provided,” AP added.

Kline has said state officials in the Sebelius administration intentionally destroyed the records they believed would hurt the Planned Parenthood abortion business. But, at today’s hearing, Pedro Irigonegaray, an attorney for Planned Parenthood, asked Judge Tatum to dismiss the charges.

The state reports are verifications that abortionists send to KDHE for statistical purposes, and are annually tabulated and published. Copies of those reports are required to be kept in the patient medical files. Of crucial importance is that these reports fail to provide valid medical reasons that banned post-viability abortions were performed. They are evidence of illegal abortion.

KFL Executive Director, Mary Kay Culp, said, “Only guilty people destroy evidence; not even we anticipated Sebelius and her administration could stoop this low to protect abortion industry criminality, but this proves they did. Sebelius wanted to insure that evidence of illegal abortions was removed before Kline could use it to convict her abortion industry campaign supporters. We truly can’t find words to adequately convey how outrageous this is. We are especially incredulous given that Sebelius’ Health department testified about these reports in Johnson County court in 2008 without once mentioning that the reports had been destroyed!  It’s all so unbelievable, and yet, given the players, so very believable indeed!”

Meanwhile, open records received by Operation Rescue from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment raise more questions than they answer about the recent revelation that documents containing critical evidence against Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri were shredded under the Sebelius Administration.

Operation Rescue asked the agency for a broad range of documents and communications between KDHE and Planned Parenthood and/or the office of former Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, who now serves as President Obama’s Secretary of Health and Human Services.

This proves that Sebelius was unfit to hold any public office, elected or appointive. On the bright side, it’s unlikely that she will ever be elected to anything ever again.

misdemeanor...failing to test the viability of unborn children before doing late-term abortions...

There certainly is a more succinct way to describe that action and it appears to me there is an underlying story here. Once the legislature acknowledged, presumably understood and addressed the issue it is shocking it could only come up with a misdemeanor count.

Catholics in the droves should threaten to leave the church if they don't start dealing with baby murderers for who they are. Then it is possible that they will start excommunications. As long as they don't they are condoning murder and thereby stand guilty themselves.

If a Church does not stand for the truth of The LORD it has lost it's status as a Church before The LORD. The LORD is The Way, The Truth and The Life. If a Church does not stand for truth or life it is not of God no matter what it may say. If a Church condones the murder of the most innocent of us by not excommunicating those who promote their murder than that church is also guilty of mass murder.

Jesus comes to bring life and bring it more abundantly. Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy. It is wrong to think that God's Name remains on an institution that does not stand for life.

Jesus decried the established religious system of His time calling the Pharisees white washed Sepulchres full of dead man's bones. It was the established religious system at His time that arranged for Him to be murdered. Do not think because something seems established that makes it right.

The Church that came out from Jesus was seperate from the established religious system of it's time. It met in people's homes not even in an established building. The Church is the true people of God who do God's will. We are the Church, those who truly believe in Jesus and recognize His headship. We are The Temple of The Living God.

It’s no Mystery that today the vestigial state religion of the Roman Empire is evidently as impotent and dysfunctional as the Eunuch perverts who’ve been running its occult show since long before Moses was a prince of Egypt... when murdering infants for the pleasure of the state was bidness as usual.

And their buggering kind has been at the occult center of virtually every instance of theocratic tyranny that has ever inflicted itself upon the human species.

From Egypt and Babylon through Boys Town and post-modern times - that’s a FACT.

Ba'al is as Ba'al does.

Meet the New Boss, same as the Old Ba'al
--The Who?

Ba'al being a Hebrew word for Lord, Owner, Master, Possessor...  typically manifested throughout history ala the merger of commerce, governance, and religion into that State of theocratic afairs where "COMMERCE BETWEEN MASTER AND SLAVE IS DESPOTISM" -- and from which the specified purpose of American governance was "TO SECURE THESE RIGHTS".

...who, being themselves but fallible and uninspired men, have assumed dominion over the faith of others, setting up their own opinions and modes of thinking as the only true and infallible, and as such endeavoring to impose them on others, hath established and maintained false religions over the greatest part of the world, and through all time...

--Thomas Jefferson, the Virginia Act for Establishing Religious Freedom

There are few things more impositional than the murder of the unborn - perpetrated by a demoralized and hedonistic society of amoral humanists that increasingly thinks with the little head between its legs, instead of with the big one its Creator placed atop its shoulders.

Evidently somewhere along the way personal responsibility floated away upon the wind emanating from parrots-in-the-pulpit who wear vestigial plumage of the indulgent remnant of the Roman Empire's defunct state religion.

Destroying records must have been her bona fides for her position as the HHS Sec. Remember the trumped up Swine Flu scare, Spring 2009? I told my friends and co-wokers at the time it was a manufactured crisis so as to allow Sebelius to become HHS Sec without the usual vetting process. What slime we have in charge of our once great USA!

It is simply ridiculous how so many posters on threads like this leverage a Formal Heretic's, like Sebelius, actions as a catalyst to their anti-Catholic and anti-established religion views. In this specific case it is, to them, as if Sebelius herself defines or decrees or magistrates the teaching of the Roman Catholic church and has some significant involvement in what any established church or religion proposes and intends and believes. Bishops and priests don't even hold that authority within the Roman Catholic Church.

Bishops and priests are not without fault in these person's errors, though. Obstructionist bishops and priests don’t care. Good bishops and priests mostly remain silent. And the laity get more confused and discouraged every day. But, the Church's moral teachings remain solid. It is up to the layperson to see through these rouses presented by the heretic within the clergy and the laity. Look to the real authority...the Roman Catholic doctrinal theology and dogmatic teachings of faith and morals.

These poor souls are desperately seeking some sort of verification or justification for their own errors. They have chosen to abandon God's teachings and scriptures and traditions on so many issues that they will accept some truly lost Formal Heretic's actions as being meaningful as a catalyst for their turning toward error away from truth.

In truth, these people are much more closely aligned to Sebelius herself, than with the Word. For they, too, have turned away and are practicing their own heresy.

These lost souls take any opportunity to state their error (misery loves company) as being right (evil always attempts to convince the world it is a good and necessary).

I pray for persons like this that God will send His Holy Spirit upon them and soften their hardened hearts and that, in this instance, they can see their error is very much the same as Sebelius’.

One more reason to vote them out in 2012. As far as, will she be excommunicated, probably not. Unfortunately, the Church appears not to be standing up for the unborn as they used to. I am Catholic and I have noticed they are not as vocal in their opposition to abortion.

Amen! A truth that is being lost today in the world's attempt to create "feel good" centers that call themselves churches. In reality they are places where biblical error is celebrated in an attempt to celebrate fellowship over doctrinal truth.

Yes it is astounding. At a church organization I worked at one guy asked me twice if I knew Jesus I said yes He is my Resurrrected Savior in Whom my hope and publicly declared. Wellllllll when election time came and he supported O for only one reason I asked him if Jesus would support O’s gay and radical abortion agenda. He became so angry he never spoke to me again. In the book of Revelation Jesus judged seven churches. Each church had it's own angel which stood before the throne of God and each church had it's own judgments. They stood or fell before The LORD as individual churches. Jesus told the church that was at Sardis that unless it repented he would remove it's candlestick. The candlestick was it's blessing as a church from God. No where in the judgments of the seven churches does The LORD refer to any ruler or pope being over all of them and responsible for them. They were each, individually, responsible for themselves as individual churches before The LORD.

Read what Jesus says to the seven churches written about in Revelation 1:10 to 3:22. It is very obvious that Christ Himself is directly the head of The Church. There is no man taking a part in that headship but Christ and Christ alone. Be careful to not let any man do your thinking for you. Let God through The Holy Spirit by the reading of His Word show you what is true. Be as the Jews at Berea who The Apostle Paul commended because they searched The Scriptures daily to be sure as to what was true or not. It is because they knew the Scriptures that when Jesus was preached to them they readily received Him.

_________________________________________________

Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have [somewhat] against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

_________________________________________________

Act 17:10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming [thither] went into the synagogue of the Jews.

Act 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Act 17:12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.
