I used mylar bags inside recycled plastic buckets. The mylar provides the seal to keep out the oxygen, and the plastic bucket makes it easier to stack and keeps out most insects/rodents. The plastic doesn’t provide anything besides physical protection.
The new buckets are kinda pricy, so I used ones from a bakery.
