Dual-National Iranians Flee, Fearing Israeli Attack

Iranians who are able to flee their country are doing so, fearing an Israeli attack, Voice of Israel state radio reported Sunday. Iranian business people who hold dual citizenship with passports from European nations are allegedly leaving in droves.

They apparently fear that Israel is preparing to attack Iran's nuclear facilities to eliminate President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's oft-repeated threat to annihilate the Jewish State.

In a radio interview, a Palestinian Authority business owner with strong ties in Iran reported that many Iranians fear a “major attack” by Israel that would cause “terrible damage,” especially in Tehran. The source had returned to Israel over the weekend after spending some time in Iran.

On Saturday, an explosion at an Iranian Revolutionary Guards depot near Tehran killed at least 17 soldiers, with some reports claiming that up to 27 people were killed, and two locations were involved. The cause of the explosion is not clear.

PA Arab leaves Islamic Republic for "occupied West Bank"? How Iranic. It looks like there really may be a war. Somehow, I think we (Israelis) are being taken for suckers and sent on a fool's errand.

It would be nice to have destruction of nuke facilities with no fingerprint as to source...similar to the syrian situation only with even less information.

That would work. No markings, no sources, no tracking, and no identifiable isotopes/markers.

Would taking out Ahmadinejad change the situation?

I recall poll(s) in which the supposedly enlightened young Iranians wanted nukes. This was during the Bush years that I saw the results of this poll (or was it just an article?)

Sure. Change. Not necessarily for the better, of course. Hope. Doesn’t cost anything, so why not?

Iran—through Ahmadinejhad, has been asking for this attack for years.
In fact they are begging for it..

Will it come ? Only the Shadow knows.

But I suspect the Israeli’s are about ready.

I think it could be proven if Israel did the deed, and Israel would simply say we were protecting our country. and tell everyone that bitches to go to hell.
I’manutjob has threatened Israel in public many times.

We (Americans) would be in danger if Iran develops nuclear weapons whether mounted onto a missile or delivered in a cargo container.

The Iranians created this situation for themselves. Constantly talking smack about how they are going to destroy Israel and the U.S.

Sometimes bullies just need to have a mud hole stomped into’em.

Just in case you are interested in what the word of the Lord says about Iran... read this? Elam = ancient word for Iran.

Ezekiel 32:24 “ There is Elam and all her multitude, All around her grave, All of them slain, fallen by the sword, Who have gone down uncircumcised to the lower parts of the earth, Who caused their terror in the land of the living; Now they bear their shame with those who go down to the Pit.

Jeremiah 49:34 Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, The foremost of their might. 36 Against Elam I will bring the four winds From the four quarters of heaven, And scatter them toward all those winds; There shall be no nations where the outcasts of Elam will not go. 37 For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies And before those who seek their life. I will bring disaster upon them, My fierce anger,’ says the LORD;

Technically, Elam is the southwest of Iran around the Persian Gulf.

Hate to quibble, but “Who have gone down uncircumcised to the lower parts of the earth,” cannot refer to Iran, because Muslims circumcise their male children immediately before the onset of adolescence.

That sounds like a mass-civilian-casualty event, then.

Maybe Obaama gets desperate after Iran nukes the US, and goes Medieval on them in the hopes of securing re-election?

NO cheers, unfortunately.

Well I would doubt that they will have the capacity anytime soon to strike the US with nukes, I imagine you need very sophisticated nuke technology to pull that off. And Israel is their priority numero uno if they have one. But who really knows what they want or what they are militarily capable of. In fact, I saw a report that stated their military budget was about the same as nations like Australia and Greece-clearly not enough to give them the means of a nuke strike on the US. A nuke strike on Israel-possibly.

That's just the point, you *don't*.

Try reading about Starfish Prime.

Wikipedia says, "Starfish Prime caused an electromagnetic pulse which was far larger than expected, so much larger that it drove much of the instrumentation off scale, causing great difficulty in getting accurate measurements. The Starfish Prime electromagnetic pulse also made those effects known to the public by causing electrical damage in Hawaii, about 1,445 kilometres (898 mi) away from the detonation point, knocking out about 300 streetlights, setting off numerous burglar alarms and damaging a telephone company microwave link. The EMP-damaged microwave link shut down telephone calls from Kauai to the other Hawaiian islands.[4]"

Granted, it was a 1.4 megaton burst, but the imporant thing is the gamma-ray flux, not the yield. Look up the links I posted earlier for more details.

Cheers!
