Many of the NYC Occupiers will be singing this in jail today!

LOL, a Russian ‘Hawaiian’ singer. Love it.

Doing the job American singers can't/won't do.

GAG! I couldn't make it past the first verse.
(coffee doesn't taste so good the 2nd time you swallow it)

There. Now that my stomach is settled, I've got some ready-made 'anthems' for them.
Just so they pay the Royalties, that is ;-)

Huh? What? The last song doesn't belong? Sure it does.
The 'occupiers' have so many diseases their, 'Boots Are Scootin', all day long to the nearest porta-john.

And Queen's song belongs too, just insert Losers for Champions, modify another word or two and you got an anthem.

Note to the new Bob Dylan: nothing more than three verses nitwit. And keep it simple with 3 chords and follow the I, IV, V rule. And SHORT, 5:25 is too long asswipe. Oh. And lose the fricken Capo.

(I prefer the Key of E, like 'The Boss', but that's just me. Clapton likes A, and BB King does 'mostly' B or Bb)

This topic and the DUmmie professor who thinks the prosperity gap is too large between the 65 & older and 35 and younger were the topics on KLBJ in Austin yesterday. There was one occupy Austin DUmmie who called in and said the older generation needs to “share their wealth” with the youth of America.

From Underground the Democratics flock

Far be it from me to correct the master, but for the most part, the DUmmies aren't flocking out there. In the long-standing tradition of DUAC, they're claiming solidarity and support, but from behind their keyboards in mommy's basement or attic.

Wouldn't that be cruel and unusual punishment for the other inmates?

Can I add Rammstein’s “Ich Will”

It is in German, but as you can see from the translation, it is appropriate
__________

I want

I want you to trust me
I want you to believe me
I want to feel your eyes
I want to control every heartbeat

I want to hear your voices
I want to disturb the peace
I want you to see me well
I want you to understand me

I want your fantasy
I want your energy
I want to see your hands
I want to go down in applause

Do you see me?
Do you understand me?
Do you feel me?
Do you hear me?
Can you hear me?
(We hear you)
Can you see me?
(We see you)
Can you feel me?
(We feel you)
I don’t understand you

I want

We want you to trust us
We want you to believe everything from us
We want to see your hands
We want to go down in applause - yeah

Can you hear me?
(We hear you)
Can you see me?
(We see you)
Can you feel me?
(We feel you)
I don’t understand you

Can you hear us?
(We hear you)
Can you see us?
(We see you)
Can you feel us?
(We feel you)
We don’t understand you

I want

Well, heavy metal is one way to get rid of hippies.

Maybe the cities should set up some nice boig speakers and blast some Slayer at the Occupiers. Nothing like a little heavy metal to kill a mellow buzz :-)

The phrasing of the lyrics is AWFUL. The words are painfully manipulated to (somewhat) rhyme... no flow at all.

Somebody wasn’t paying attention in Music 101 class.

Oh, and the message is pretty FUnnie, too.

Too long, too wordy, and too derivative. A shorter more direct protest song with music along the lines of "Louie, Louie" would be more effective.

"Oh well, rich people, rich people, oh oh whoah, give us you money, yeah, yeah, yeah,,yeah, yeah,.... oh well a rich people, rich people, give us your dough."

Ye come here, gather ‘round the stage
The time has come for us to voice our rage
Against the ones who’ve trapped us in a cage
To steal from us the value of our wage

I write music as a second job. Although that is not my day job, as the owner of a music hall I am around a lot of songwriters.

When I read the lyrics above, it seemed to have the same lyrical phrasing as, say, a jumping bean on crack.

I didn’t want to give the video a hit, so I will take your word for it.

And the lyrics? The very first phrase is “Ye come here”? Please.

Last line in first verse is “To steal from us the value of our wage”? Yeah I’m like really hooked from then on.

I could have written something better in 10 minutes with Rhymezone.

Based on this OWS VIDEO another OWS anthem could be "Defecated to the One I Love" to the tune of "Dedicated to the One I Love" by the Shirelles.

Boring rhyme scheme, clumsy lyrics, leftist cliches, enervating music.

Perfect music to toke by.

OT but now I know what the KOmmies experienced at the Stratosphere chocolate fountain in Las Vegas a few years ago. On Monday I went to the Golden Corral and they had a new chocolate fountain there. I took a couple of strawberries and placed each on a stick and stuck them into the chocolate fountain. What impressed me was despite completely covering the strawberries in liquid chocolate, it quickly solidified with no dripping. Also I loved the taste. I consider this the mainstreaming of chocolate fountains into American society. Check out the St. Louis area. Perhaps you have Golden Corrals there with chocolate fountains. Also your area, bcsco.

There’s a Golden Corral in Rockford. Since my wife works in Rockford, I’ll suggest it to her. Thanks!
