Nearly 48 years after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, fresh audio evidence from that fateful day has surfaced. The evidence comes in the form of the original reel-to-reel Air Force One radio recording, containing conversations between officials on the plane, the White House situation room, and others. The original tape was long thought to be lost or destroyed.
The tape contains never-before-heard conversations between the presidential aircraft and the White House and immediately after the assassination of President Kennedy on Nov. 22, 1963.
It was held privately for years by President Kennedy’s military aide at the time, Chester Clifton. Clifton was in the Dallas motorcade when Kennedy was shot and killed, and on Air Force One and involved in the radio discussions. The tape was obtained by the Raab Collection of Philadelphia.
According to Nathan Raab, the Vice President of the collection, the tape is the raw, unedited version of the edited audio tape from Air Force One that is in the National Archive. The Raab Collection says the raw tape “is about 30 minutes longer than the edited version, predates it by years, and contains incidents and code names never before heard by the American public.”
“That this tape even exists will change the way we view this great event in history,” said Raab. “It took decades to analyze the shorter, newer version and it will take years to do the same here. This provides a concise ‘tale of the tapes’ and offers great insight into ongoing research.”
The tape contains a dramatic first-hand report of the President’s assassination, and the wounding of then-Texas Governor John Connolly. ..

I’m convinced after reading about his entire life, and hearing his older brother say how he has no doubt Lee Harvey did it alone. It’s still an amazing sequence of events, though.

That line’s been coming since Mark Lane wrote Rush to Judgment in 1966. In other words, JFK conspiracy nuts have been proving there’s a sucker born every minute for 45 years now.
I’m one of those freaks that has read every book ever written about the JFK assassination, own most (273 at last count). And I believe Oswald’s statement that he was just a “patsy”.

Better read them again. There is zero, and I mean zero, evidence that anyone other than Oswald did it.

One beautiful thing about being a conspiracy believer is you can never be proven wrong. The other is, powerful evil conspirators running the world or the country, or even a city give people excuses for their own perceived shortcomings. As you can imagine, the affliction is more common in liberals than in conservatives.
Using a scoped, bolt action 30-06, I once shot from a tree stand four times at a deer running through brush directly away from me. The first shot was probably at 75yds and the last at 125yds. I hit him twice. So, I have no doubt that Oswald firing from a prepared rest at an essentially stationary JFK could have made those shots.
I bet you and I could have more than one interesting discussion. Remember Carroll Journegan (sp?). I used to hang out with him in the 70’s. At his house. A few hundred yards from Oswald’s grave at Rose Hill. He was either crazy, or playing crazy to stay alive. He did tell some...interesting tales.

You shouldn't have to read 271 books to realize that all the conspiracy books are all rehashing the same old lies, rumors, and misrepresentations.
I repeat, there is ZERO evidence that anyone other than Oswald did the deed.
And I thought my paltry 19, or so, books on the JFK assassination put me in as a freak! You have quite the collection!!
Sad, so very sad that in all the exposure to the truth, you fail to see it.

I gave up long ago arguing with those that have read “several” books on the JFK assassination. I have read over 273 books on the subject and my conclusion is that Oswald was not the shooter. Just my educated opinion.
Yet you cannot list a single fact that leads you to that conclusion.
Fact one: Kennedy was hit in the lower posterior neck with a round from Oswalds weapon. His arms involuntarily raising from the nerve damage and muscle spasm. He was also moving foreward from the impact and energy transfer from Oswalts bullet. (Shot from behind)
Fact two: Kennedy was hit in the right front forehead over the right eye by another shot from his right front (a second shooter) and fell back into Jackies lap (Shot from the front) You can see the blood spray from the hit in his forehead. Bullets do not make u turns. This can be clearly seen on the Zebruder (sp) film.

Wrong. All entrance wounds are located in the back side of JFK’s body. Exit wounds are in front. All forensic evidence shows this to be the case.
The blood spray, as you state, comes from the front of JFK’s head. This of course is evidence of a rear entry since the explosive force of impact flows out though the exit, not back toward the entrance.
Furthermore, the oblong wound in Connally’s back is proof the bullet was tumbling, after hitting JFK, thus validating the single bullet theory.
Oh yeah... that was the “magic bullet”.
I have read many books over the years about the different theories, and in the past few years have watched several documentaries about it and some were pretty interesting but none convinced me there was a conspiracy.
My dad was absolutely convinced that LBJ was behind it, not sure why he thought that, dad was a died in the wool democrat but never trusted LBJ.
What I mean is, it forced the Presidents head forward so far and fast his chin bounced off his chest. I would not expect that kind of head motion merely by virtue of entry and exit. His head makes a forward motion before it makes a rearward motion. That’s all.
How do you feel about the Torbitt document?

The bits and pieces I heard of these tapes told me nothing.
I’m from Dallas and grew up around all this. A few years ago, our Skeptics group sponsored a talk by the doctor from Parkland who was actually on duty and worked on JFK when he was rushed into the ER. He brought along his own photos from that time, told us everything that happened minute by minute, and answered all questions to try to clear up exactly what occurred from the expert perspective of a highly qualified surgeon who was actually standing there working on JFK.
After the talk, I went to the men’s room. There were two guys in there at the urinals I’d never seen at any Skeptics meeting before. They were both scoffing about how that doctor was either a fool or a tool, because he didn’t know what he was talking about.
Yes, how could he possibly know more about it than they did? It’s not like he was actually there. Oh, wait: HE WAS!!!
Again proving, nothing dents the beliefs of a conspiracy nut. Exculpatory evidence is merely absorbed into the narrative and becomes a new branch of the conspiracy.
