John Boehner betrays Americans with "Super Committee" sell-out

Nothing is more maddening to conservatives than the ease with which Capitol Hill Republicans endlessly compromise away the rights, liberty and heritage of the American people and the best interests of our nation.

On August 2nd the debt-reduction “Super Committee” was born of the Budget Control Act of 2011, its purpose to cut 1.2 trillion dollars from the federal budget over the next decade.

If the handpicked Committee of 6 Republicans and 6 Democrats should fail to agree upon mutually acceptable legislation by November 23rd, automatic spending cuts will take effect beginning in 2013 (after the election, of course.)

“Acceptable legislation” presumably translates to fiscal terms which both congress and Barack Obama will find politically palatable enough to embrace, or at least tolerate.

Prior to the start of committee negotiations it was suggested that both Democrats and Republicans have ample incentive to reach a meaningful agreement.

So it was decided that the automatic cuts should consist of $600 billion from the nation’s defense and $600 billion from discretionary spending, one ostensibly bitter pill for each side.

These terms were negotiated and agreed upon by Republican House Speaker John Boehner.

For years congressional Democrats have dreamed of perpetrating massive damage to the Department of Defense and the nation’s armed forces.

And now, John Boehner has almost singe handedly “compromised” away $600 billion from America’s defense, funds which the entire Democrat Party could not wrench from assembled congressional Republicans.

It can’t be, I could have never seen this coming or engineered, right from the first tearful mention of it.

The Repub party is dead as far as I’m concerned. It’s been taken over by elitists and the radicalized, the latest being Ann Coulter. Never in a million years did I ever think that would happen with Ann, but it has. I guess when those greenbacks are flashed, it turns anyone into an instant pedophile being offered a Cub scout or in her case a girl scout. You go on and endorse Romney Ann, I’ll retain the sanity. Maybe you and Pelosi can have a party throwing money in the air for selling out the citizens of this country who believe in the Constitution and Freedom.

I don’t mind them “hitting” the military but it seems the Pentagon always gets screwed. What about the 1/2 billion dollars that Newt allocated for Planned Parenthood. Why can’t they get hit some. I know Newt did this in the 90’s and not today but still.

To paraphrase a line from Ben Stein’s father......if the military wastes half of what is budgeted for them, then we need to budget twice as much.

The military and defense is a constitutional duty.......section 8 housing and health care are not.

So you think 500 billion dollars in cuts is enough? That is what will happen if the Super Duper Committee fails to act. Yes I believe that the Military Budget is too large and some cuts can happen. I do believe that 500 billion would decimate the military.

Perhaps we have smart weapons that can get the job done without putting our precious sons in front of enemy guns?

Obama’s crew are orchestrating the media to have Mitt be the nominee that opposes him. I didn't say “Republican” nominee. Mitt's the furthest thing from a Republican never mind a conservative. He blows with the wind. He talks a great game, I'm from Mass. I've heard it over and over. It's BS.
He will sell you out in a minute if it doesn't create a furor in the press.
If you want change in this country Herman Cain is your best bet, and most qualified. His 9-9-9 plan will bring a stimulated economy back to heights we have never seen. Just figure out what your position would be if it were implemented. Multiply your adjusted gross income by 9% and compare it to the total tax liability you had in 2010. Divide the savings by 9% and you will find the amount of money you would have to spend to equal your situation under current conditions. Then the best part is, congress wouldn't be able to play the favorites game and garner all the money from the political hacks alias lobbyists.
In every position he has held he has bettered the organization he was serving. The attack that is going to be against Mitt is his Bain Investment organization that purchased companies and strained out the best parts and shut them down. Making millions while people lost jobs. Some truth to it but he did strengthen the market place doing it. That is what they will attack him on. This outcry beat him by Ted Kennedy and John Kerry, two of the most evil people to serve in the congress. Probably Howard Metzenbaum was worse with Leahy a close second.
The public will only hear the bad.
Nothing that has happened has indicated to me that Herman Cain was responsible for any of the claims against him. Look at the gutter rats that have been a part of that character assassination assignment by Obama’s chief strategist David Axelrod. His hands are on every negative situation that exists in this country. He does it simply to take the heat of the idiot in the WH. He's doing a great job of it with the help of the media and the dumbed down public. We have a lot to lose this time around. The two centuries of development for the USA will finally be over and reversed. In time Cuba will be a step up.

You bring out a point that most American’s don’t understand what you said. Your right on. Since the end of WWII we have lost the meaning of the Constitution as it was intended to be interpreted. It’s now a living document, whatever the he.. that means. Good Point!!!!
