Ron Paul had way too much air time.

Perry presented a thoughtful Iran policy.

Mitt and Newt addressed illegal immigration and Newt had much more detail which will continue to be misrepresented and oversimplified.

Newt did very well, IMHO, but already the boo birds are taking his comment on immigration to be tantamount to amnesty. I think he was clearly referring to someone in the country for over 25 years with family here etc. He spoke of following the law, and penalties, but there are so many idiots on FR these days, that it’s turned into red neck haven.

Either we rally around someone or we lose to Obama. Newt has the best answers to all the hot issues IMHO.

CNN cut the audio to dead silence when Herman Cain was introduced But they left it on when everyone else was introduced, They even cur the applause after his many wise comments! In fact every time he was first to answer a question, many of the other candidates had his answer woven into their own comments!

I was stunned, at first blaming the audience. But this morning I realize what CNN did to Mr. Cain.

CNN has a vote fraud mentality!

Exactly the message I try to spread here on FR.

Anti-Newts take one line on one subject and pretend that is a reason to avoid him.

These same folks can’t stand Mitt and go on to pretend one of the other 2%’ers are to be rallied around.

he was 'preparing' for comebacks prior to the debate.

Newt had an excellent point about our need for drilling our own oil for our national security during a conversation about Iran. Blitz asked candidates if they would use force to prevent Iran from getting a weapon (basically). Many candidates talked about sanctions, yada, yada, yada. I can’t remember, but I think it was Blitz who asked “what about the EU? They get oil from Iran and they are our allies, blah, blah, blah, they won’t go along. Then Newt nicely tied it to the need for drilling for our own resources because we could export to EU, taking away that objection and strengthening our position against Iran. Loved it. Hope you can follow that.

Newt was made of awesome (although he is far to the left of me). Wolf Blitzer was afraid to ask him a question. The other candidates could do nothing but shake their heads. Perry was much better. Romney seems to be fading. Cain was out of his league. Bachmann and Santorum were very solid. Paul (whom I happen to agree with on a number of issues) looked crazy.

It makes me wonder how old Newt lovers were when Newt Gingrich was in the House of Representatives. This man is a RHINO of the first water! He may well be our John McCain in this election.

That he favors amnesty proves that he does not listen to the people ,who with their calls to Washington, caused Congress not to pass the last amnesty bill!

Part of the establishment, Newt is self serving, liberal, pompous, ego maniacal, a loose canon, with flawed common sense. Gingrich is everything we do not want or need in a president! He would not listen to the people Please before you throw your vote away, research this man. He takes full credit for what the entire House did when he was Speaker to balance that budget, not just Newt Gingrich!

He believes in man made global warming along with Al Gore, though global warming and cooling have been going on for thousands of years! Warming and cooling of the earth is cyclical! Thus does he believe also in job killing regulations!

He was instrumental in passing the Fed. Dept. of Education into being during Jimmy Carter’s term. But as I said, do your own research.

The only reason Obama’s media is building up Gingeih is to eclipse the real front runner, the man the people want, Herman Cain, the man the Left fears most!

The media is powerful bedaquse there are so many brainwashed yoyos out there who will still believe what they say!

The middle class (the Tea Party)is the enemy of Communism. And Herman Cain is for all the people and for his beloved country. He knows how to take us out of the red because he has done it for so many coppanies. Herman Cain’s thoughts and plans for our country are sound, and workable, if we just give him the chance!

It serves your purpose to label his plan “amnesty”, but the fact is the details of his plan include deportation of more recent illegal immigrants.
Newt’s plan is much more thoughtful and realistic than anything proposed to date.
Your name calling doesn’t make your case, and neither does your preference for Cain. I had hopes for Herman, but he continues to come up short on critical issues.
If you want Obama out of office I suggest you consider who is best situated to highlight Obama’s shortcomings.
We can retire the national debt by simply charging admission to Newt’s debates with Obama.
Did you really think Herman performed well in the last 2 debates?

Just warning you. I call them the way I see them, and I am a good judge of character. This election may well be the last one we ever have. It is VITALLY IIMPORTANT that we get the right man into the White House. That man is Herman Cain. The people love him, love what he says, love his plan because it works. We do not need any more career politicians in Washington. We need real people with common sense.

Obama’s Communist media hates Herman Cain because he stands for what is good and right in America. We are being so manipulated by that media. We must wake up and be wise. Listen to reason. Do the rifht thing.. Once our Constitution is gone it is gone forever along with our freedoms, private property, and our vote.

It is a do or die election.

I’m 58 and have worked in the defense industry for 40 years, beginning with my enlistment at 17, during Vietnam.
I don’t need “warning” about anything.
If we were hiring a benevolent dictator, I’d agree with your “not a career politician” sentiment.
Reality demands that the next President be adept in their dealings with congress and foreign leaders.
I agree with the your view of the significance of this election, but Herman now looks to be the guy most likely to be taken advantage of by Dem’s and our foreign enemies.
The President will need to be able to go over the heads of the MSM and the Dem’s in congress, and explain very clearly, why they are wrong and why America must take the course that makes us stronger.

Romney and Barrack stand to gain the most by lynching Herman Cain. The patriots want Herman Cain for president. The left, including Romney stand to gain complete control over the rest of us if they win the White House.

So we will soon be either controlled by the Mormon Church, or their big brother, Islam. Unless the voter wakes up and decide to fight for our country.
