I’ve always found that it’s the libs that want to talk politics.
My hubby is pretty apolitical, his brother is an atheist/libertarian (can’t follow rules at all), brother’s wife is a big flying lib, MIL and FIL are Country Club republicans.
It’s always the SIL that starts the politics on the holidays.
Reading all this brings to mind why I don’t visit my family, period. We are on different planets, & theirs hasn’t even been discovered yet.
