Yeah, and if you go back far enough you will find Princeton has won the most national championships, followed by Yale.

Back in the good old days I had friends at UT who laughed about the cars that the FB stars drove...new every year sport cars.

Unless they were liars...

Those Z-28’s were very popular with the girlfriends of UT football players, back in the 1980’s.

However, it was quite odd that all the football players girlfriends liked the same type of car and would let their football player drive their cars as much as they needed.

True, so if you are saying history is irrelevant, then like in the workplace, it is not what you did for me yesterday , last year, or the year before Coach. What are you doing for me today, tomorrow and next year Coach?

All conferences and most teams have their ups and downs. When you choose selective history and belittle a conference that has more titles than SEC and a team in that conference (UT) that has a superior record in rivalries with those teams is sure to bring a rejoinder.

I thought A&M was a conservative school, but it seems that all we hear from the Aggies is that they want Texas to share revenue with A&M.

Sounds a whole lot like the Occupy Wall Street protesters who want the wealthy to share their wealth.

Perhaps, the Aggies can hold an Occupy UT Campus protest and camp out on campus until Texas, the Top 1% will share with the Poor Aggies.

They just want 1/12 of the Big 12 revenue. Since you are unaware of the particular financial disagreements and seem to make statements that are made to provoke an angry response I'll leave you with this.

It's been a pleasure competing with you on the fields of athletic competition. Good luck in the upcoming season and I hope that your school makes a lot of money with your network.

I don't know you but you sound a little bitter and resentful. I figure you should be happy. Y'all won the game, have the Big -12 under your thumb and have the great Longhorn Network. We get to go to the SEC and play some great schools like Alabama, LSU, and Florida. It should be a hoot.

You see I'm an Aggie and we're basically optimistic folks. I was fortunate to visit several campuses prior to my enrollment in college.

I chose to go to A&M because it's strong military traditions, great biochemistry department, low tuition and the nice students I met while walking around campus. They were friendly , said "howdy" and were nice to my parents who had never been to a college campus.

Rice was a bit strange and I didn't like Houston and the people I met from UT were actually a bit stuck on themselves like some of the schools I visited in the northeast. They weren't my cup of tea. So you chose t.u. and I'm glad you did. Seems that a lot of bitter, petty, tools ended up at t.u. I'm just sorry that 70% of the longhorns make the other 30% look so bad. I'm so glad that I chose to go to that little old school in College Station. Gig'em. "79". Whoop.

When you choose selective history

All I was doing was sharing some information I found interesting. In the entire history of the BCS (admittedly a fairly short one) the SEC is undefeated in Championship games.

No other conference is better than .500

“They just want 1/12 of the Big 12 revenue.”

Why should the Aggies get an equal share of the revenue when they do not earn an equal proportion of the revenue?

Sure, Texas and Oklahoma attract attention and bring in cash but schools like Iowa State, Baylor ant a&m do not really earn money for the conference.

They are like Welfare Queens always with their hat in hand.

Oh my. I was responding to this “trumandogz” as if he were a FReeper but it turned out he’s a troll.
I found this and bam it hit me

The General Character of a Troll
Firstly, these people tend to have all the qualities of a bully. They are profoundly ignorant of many things. Generally, they have difficulty reading anything lengthy or complex and this makes them feel inferior. So they do something called ‘projection’. They make you responsible for their inability to read or comment intelligently. They also get a kick out of putting others down. That’s because they have very small egos and suffer to quite a large degree from having an inferiority complex. The only way they can feel good about themselves is to belittle others.

If he flames away just ignore him. He’ll try some put down of A&M by calling us socialist or welfare queens or beggars but he’s just projecting what everybody in Texas knows is the Berkley of the Hill Country. As far as the old farm animal jokes about A&M, well it does seem to me that Austin has the prettiest boys and men chasing each other to the detriment of farm animals. Hahahaha.

My advice is to not respond to the troll and these types of pathetic cyber wimps usually are like fleas so be wary on other threads cause they’ll usually stalk you. Especially if his mom tells him to pick up his room or takes the keys to his car away as punishment. Gig ‘em Whoop!

Fair enough. Now we’ve both done that.

I wonder how many boxes of doughnuts Charlie Weis will go through tonight, that fat no-good waste of space.
