Anwar al Awlaki was a U.S. citizen.
He was also an anti-US combatant.
He was one of the first Americans executed by this President without trial.

We expect a President who has a history of “over-reach” in almost everything he touches, not to “over-reach” on this issue ? Co-signed by McCain at Obummers request ?

He won’t even send National Guard to protect the Southern border to stop an invasion of drugs, alien immigrants, or weapons . Instead , he puts up 15 highway signs to warn U.S. citizens to seek an alternative route, due to danger from drug cartels , and illegal immigration routes, and while he and the Department of “Just-us” promotes and arms the drug cartels . WHAT ARE YOU ... NUTS ???

I dont trust either major party with this authority to arrest and detain without trial, much less use the military as “enforcers “.
I dont trust either major party with this authority to abbrogate the Consitution , or re-write it , or modify it.
TRUST is something that you earn , and so far , I haven’t seen anything out of this administration that is worthy of TRUST .

There is nothing in the Constitution that says enemy combatants in this country cannot be killed by American troops.

That would not have been put there by a group of Founders who had fought on our own soil against British, Indians, and saboteurs.

The point of posse comitatus was to not use the military for normal law enforcement.

As well well know from Kent State, the National Guard can be used as governors of the states determine.
