Mickey Kaus has a good little essay on this.
I have a suggestion: A few years ago my niece was speaking of a class of people as Canadians. I wondered about that because the characteristics she was discussing were not in any way attributable to Canadians. I suddenly realized what she was talking about and began to laugh. Its a great illustration that no matter what you call an identifiable group, people see through your euphemism and know what youre referring to. So heres a suggestion, lets change the term from illegal alien to
oh, Martian. Everyone will know what you mean and it will drive the Left nuts. What can they say, that the real Martians may object?
Two legged locusts.
“What should we call illegal aliens?”
Can we call them “foreign invaders”?
‘wetbacks’ still works for me
That is what they are...
That is how they should be categorized and handled...
Mexico should be declared a failed state.
Words mean things.
Pirhana bait (if we stock the Rio Grande with a certain voracious South American fish)
(And if they don`t leave) Targets
Call them democrats and be done with it.
The dearly deported
Be nice. I was thinking of a term that people could use in high society without raising the eyebrows of any Fifth avenue matron. If we begin discussing the terrible effect of the invasion of Martians, the effect on our economy, their displacement of low skilled American workers, their disregard of immigration law, their effect on ranchers in the Southwest, what can they say?
Keep calling them “illegal aliens” today; call them “deportees” tomorrow and “Mexican Residents” (or whatever national adjective is appropriate) on Wednesday.
When my granddaughter was around 5 we had to go through a Border Patrol check and she wanted to know what it was for and I told her it was a place where they checked for illegal aliens...yeah, she thought it was space aliens.
