Some people have a way of breaking down an issue, laying it out in its simplest, most rudimentary form. Comic and podcaster Adam Carolla did just that recently when he unleashed what many conservatives will hail an acerbic yet painfully accurate debunking of the Occupy movement and its self-ascribed motivations. The nearly ten minute long lampooning of Americas new ******g self-entitled monsters who think the world owes them a living is peppered with very strong language, still, Carollas observations are worth listening through to the end.
Among the many highlights in Carollas rant, he asks why the top 1 percent of America paying 50 percent of all income taxes in the country is not good enough for the Occupiers. He also observes how envy never before existed among Americans the way it does now, and that it, along with shame plays a crucial role in the Occupiers motivation and self-justification.
Reflecting on how things used to be back in the day, Carolla states:
You took guys who built something, and you said theres a guy who accomplished something. You didnt say, that guy didnt pay his fair share. That guy paid millions of dollars last year, and you paid s*** and youre pissed at him?

This needs to be played with loud speakers at every OWS protest site. LOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!
Beck is making one without the language to put on the site as well, but the language does add expression. LOL!
Well worth listening too. Very nice of him to translate our feelings into their language so they might understand something...anything.
Bump for later.
You do if you are obama
All the media had to do to see the exact same things Adam just said WAY before he said them was to come here. Even still, I applaud him for saying these things.
I saw this coming back in the 1980’s. Notably the purple or green or yellow participation badges and ribbons. The “We’re All Winners” mentality was rampant back in schools back then. Twenty-five years later these kids are squatting all across the country demanding they have everything the millionaires have.
That really was excellent.
I STILL see people on relocation/real estate forums all a-twitter about how 'good' the public schools are in such and such an area...get real. They ALL suck.
Come on, America. This CAN be fixed. Homeschooling, private schools, vouchers; whatever. Public schools are NOT getting it done...period.
(Don't worry, parents...this is only a problem at 'other' schools...I'm sure YOUR school is just awesome.) Educators...please don't waste time with PM telling me to 'go fornicate myself'...you're only proving my point. :-)
Great point...I have noticed that the liberal elite of New England have difficulty expressing themselves unless they interject the 'f' word into every sentence.
Funny how I RARELY (if ever) heard the 'f' word when living among the 'gun-clinging Bible thumpers' down south. Go figure.
I listen to Carolla’s regular podcast every weekday and his “ACE on the House” home repair podcast every weekend. Love the man. He’s smart and fearless. http://www.adamcarolla.com/
I like Corolla as well.
I like this video better -

So is this:

CEO GOES NUCLEAR ON OBAMA (in an open letter to him)
By Gerri Willis, Fox Business
The BOTTOM LINE:
[[[[ NOTE: He is ECHOING what I wrote here back in August 2011: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2764303/posts?page=12#12 ]]]]
“....To frame the debate as one of rich-and-entitled versus poor-and-dispossessed is to both miss the point and further inflame an already incendiary environment.
It is also a naked, political pander to some of the basest human emotions - a strategy, as history teaches, that never ends well for anyone but totalitarians and anarchists.
With due respect, Mr. President, it’s time for you to throttle-down the partisan rhetoric and appeal to people’s better instincts, not their worst.
Rather than assume that the wealthy are a monolithic, selfish and unfeeling lot who must be subjugated by the force of the state, set a tone that encourages people of good will to meet in the middle.
When you were a community organizer in Chicago, you learned the art of waging a guerilla campaign against a far superior force. But you’ve graduated from that milieu and now help to set the agenda for that superior force. You might do well at this point to eschew the polarizing vernacular of political militancy....”
OMG. Adam Carolla can leave one completely speechless, as in..there’s just nothing left to say. I have heard many of his podcasts on many topics and he is more often than not absolutely SPOT ON. Certainly NOT for the prim and proper and easily offended, however. I absolutely love alot of what he has to say!
“With due respect, Mr. President, its time for you to throttle-down the partisan rhetoric and appeal to peoples better instincts, not their worst.”
His entire career as a community organizer runs contrary to this. He went into the poor communities and told people to tell him what the government could do for them.
