A National ID Card For American Citizens? Get Ready – The Real ID Act Goes Into Effect On May 11
End of the American Dream ^ | March1, 2011 | Michael

Posted on 12/01/2011 10:02:54 PM PST by Texas Fossil

For a moment, imagine a future where you are not able to drive a car, get on a plane, get on a train, vote, enter a federal building, open a bank account or get a job without a national ID card. You don't think that could ever happen in America? Well, you might want to brush up on the Real ID Act because it is going to go into effect on May 11, 2011 unless something is done to stop it. When I first learned this, I was absolutely stunned. After all, wasn't the Real ID Act supposed to be "dead"? A few years ago state legislatures across the nation were in an uproar over this law. The Department of Homeland Security was forced to delay implementation of it several times. But now it is back. You see, this is what the federal government often does. They will try to push something very unpopular through, and if they meet resistance they will "play dead" until the uproar has died down and then they will come right back and implement it anyway. This is what is happening with the Real ID Act.

As of May 11, all driver's licenses across the United States will be required to conform to federal national security standards. In essence, our licenses are now going to be federalized.

This is an old article, but I only found it today. And am horrified.

I renewed my Texas Drivers License today and got a shock. Previously I had my fingerprints taken electronically. BUT today they had a new camera to take my picture for the license. The photo was taken from much farther away. There were much brighter flash systems attached.

I asked the attendant "did this take my retina scan?" She said yes. (biometric identification)

They have done it. Talk about "mark of the beast" and they have silenced any discussion of this. NONE.

God help the United States of America.

I renewed my NYS license today and was given the option of keeping my decade-old license photo.

This is not about the photo, but about the retina scan.

I still cannot believe they actually did this.

Pursuant to the Department of Homeland Security's REAL ID regulation, States were to be in full compliance with the REAL ID Act of 2005 by May 11, 2011. A final rule issued March 7, 2011 changes that date to January 15, 2013. This change gives States the time necessary to ensure that driver's licenses and identification cards issued by States meet the security requirements of the REAL ID Act.

We need a national ID in order to have valid elections and stop vote fraud.

Yes, a photo ID for voting is not an issue.

But a by stealth retina scan is not acceptable.

Clearly mark of the beast technology. This will not end well.

It appears it is already implemented in Texas.

Sadly. I discovered to my horror.

So the Real ID Act of 2005 was so urgent and important to combat terrorism, congress was able to put off its implementation eight years.

END TIMES PING LIST PING.

To another END TIMES incremental march toward the mark of the beast.

Of course, there can’t be ANY Marxist/globalist/Federalist/Othuga conspiracy involved.

Otherwise, we’d would have to consider it a joke, a farce, an untruth. True conspiracies are intolerable bits of truth to thin-skinned conservatives who are so allergic to truth in such matters. So, denial has to be the order of the day.

Move along. Nothing here. Be sure to pass close enough to the ID chip detector/scanner in order to exit the area. Those without proper ID will be unable to leave the area until they have been finger printed and their retinas scanned.

Everyone in any run of the mill totalitarian state has a “national ID” of some sort and their elections are wholly fraudulent.

I don’t see the problem with a national ID. I already have two... One is a passport, the other is a driver’s license. you need one or the other to fly.

Seems it would make it real easy for a employer to verify...

Retina “scans” have a range of a few inches at best. The DMV clerk didn’t know what they were talking about.

John 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

It is a sign of the times we are in. This will not end well for the U.S.

I am guessing that the states returned comments to the proposed regulations that the implementation of the act would cost them allot of money and time would be required to get the necessary technology and trained people to operate the equipment.

You don’t do things like this overnight.

And what did John in 13:16 say specifically about an ID card?

My first job (the Navy) I had one, Then I got a driver’s license, then a passport, and a social security card. And yes my first employer gave me one, now I also have a VA card, a medicare card, a HP retirement insurance card, a concealed carry card. Sprint can trace where I am at any minute of the day through GPS...

What’s this crap about the “sign of the beast”. I think you are off your meds...

Too bad this has nothing to do with voting.
