Posted on 12/02/2011 11:56:30 AM PST by The Looking Spoon
As liberals breathlessly report the drop in unemployment during the holiday shopping season is a sign the economy is roaring back...
The real (U6) unemployment rate is 15.6% folks!
So they’re not looking but still unemployed and the unemployment rate goes down??
Yeah, they’re not unemployed if they stop looking...even though they are still unemployed, or something...
There was only aroung 120,000 jobs ‘created’ last month, about the same range as in recent months. Therefore, there has to be another logical explanation as to why a 9.1% unemployment rate suddenly drops to 8.6%. Does the Media dig into the numbers? Cry ‘foul’ as they would if the other party were occupying the Whitehouse?
No and no.
Labor Force Statistics from the Current Population Survey

By 11/1/12 it will be down to 5% because no one will be eligible for unemployment.
360,000 left the work force ..they are not counted...this is a joke....most of the 120 were seasonal hires for christmas..
