Damned thieves stealing our money, all of them. That’s what they are!
They should ALL be in jail. Instead, they’re looting the country!

And how is the Blagojevich “Pay to Play” really different from this?
To: tutstar
At this point this headline and story are almost a Mad Lib. You can rerun the same story again and again: Just change the name of the corporation, the number of millions given to it, and the name of the wealthy Obama donor pocketing the cash.

It's a great scheme. Invest $100K in campaign contributions and get $100
million back in taxpayer money. No wonder the country is broke.
In my opinion, donors should be automatically ineligible for ('recused' from) government grants and other funding.

That is only addressing one half of the problem. Many times donors expect tax credits and favorable regulation with carve-outs for them. Some donors expect to see government crush competitors like the government did to Gibson guitars.
The swamp is much deeper and broader than anyone can imagine.

That’s why I don’t think it’s fair he got 14 dang years in prison when the higher ups get away with such corruption scot free!

We need someone to do a summary story with a table showing all the known examples.
