Iraq Government On The Verge of Collapse…All Because Obama Want’s To Get Re-elected
Flopping Aces ^ | 12-23-11 | Curt

Posted on 12/23/2011 5:23:44 AM PST by Starman417

Well now we see the results of our President leaving Iraq. The mission wasn't complete but when one only cares about his re-election, about himself to be more accurate, then completing the mission doesn't enter into the equation.

And the Iraqi's are paying for our President's selfish behavior:

A wave of bombings ripped across Baghdad on Thursday morning, killing at least 63 people and injuring almost 200 in the worst violence Iraq has seen for months. The bloodbath comes just days after American forces left the country.

The blasts also came on the heels of a political crisis between Iraq's Sunni and Shiite factions that erupted this weekend.

The political spat has raised fears that Iraq's sectarian wounds will be reopened during a fragile time when Iraq is finally navigating its own political future without U.S. military support.

Without our backing this country WILL disintegrate. But Obama based his decision to pull out because of politics, not the future of the Iraqi people.

And those thousands of American troops will have died in vain.

A leading Iraqi politician has accused the country's prime minister of acting like Saddam Hussein in trying to silence opposition, saying he risks provoking a new fightback against dictatorship.

Iyad Allawi -- a former prime minister who leads the Sunni-backed Iraqiya bloc -- also claimed the United States had pulled out its troops "without completing the job they should have finished."

“And those thousands of American troops will have died in vain.”
Don’t forget those troops that were disabled physically and mentally. What a waste of our treasure.

I’ve been putting out a daily Iraq Intelligence Report found here:

http://babylonscovertwar.com/page1.html

I wanted to make sure we didn’t loose site of where we came from like the Afghanistan conflict during the eighties...

And yes - it shows exactly that - total collapse!

Al Maliki is in league with the Iranians.
What more does anyone need to know?
He pressured Obama to leave, so Obama did.

It is tragic. In 2008 I drove through a military cemetery in PA that had a flag for each fallen soldier in Iraq. About 5000. It shocks you when you see it.

The collapse is no accident, it was planned. So his Muzzie brothers can have their Caliphate.

The Obastard MUST go, and when he does we must hold those who did this to the nation and the world accountable.

...also claimed the United States had pulled out its troops "without completing the job they should have finished."

Bush was castigated for the "MIssion Accomplished" sign which was an accurate description for the crew of the Navy vessel he was on. Obama's "mission accomplished" means any hard-won progress, and the lives wasted, are thrown in the sewer.

Reminiscent of Gene Hackman telling Will Smith he destroyed his stronghold "Because you made a phone call.".
Added proof of how much elections have consequences.

I'm betting the negotiations included some extraordinary conditions (like a permanent base) which were unacceptable to Iraq.

Obama is going to blame this on Bush...

Yes, or tried for Treason first and placed there. Or declare them enemy combatants and send them to Gitmo.

We never learn. Going into these primitive tribal countries and trying to turn them into the USA is insane. It does not work, it cannot work and it will not work. If we had stayed in Iraq for 10 more years and then left the same thing would have happened. I cry for every beautiful American kid that died over there or got their limbs blown off. Same deal different day in Afghanistan.

You do know the American way of war is to free people from dictatorial rule to a nation of THEIR own self determination, not for conquest.

Germany, Japan, the Philippines, North Africa, Grenada, Nicaragua, and a few other places now have legitimate democratic forms of government, rather than oppressive regimes.

No reasonable person thinks the war was justified. There were no WMDs. So now the rationale for sending 4000 men and women to die is that saddam was shooting a SAM at our F18’s a couple of times a year.

Maybe you missed that little event that occurred September 11th, 2001. Saddam Hussein was one of the principal supporters of Al Qaeda. As well as Iran and Syria.

And no one knew there were no WMDs -- not even Saddam Hussein. The big question is, "Where did they go?" We know he had them at one point because he used them on his own people.

That's OK, because we are going to do nothing about Iran, so you will get to see the results of your fantasy "What If?" scenario.

The sad part is Americans in general couldn’t give two sh*ts about the ramifications of this disaster.

The ones I fear most for are the Kurds, who were the only community to cheer our troops’ liberation of their region. The time is going to come in which they face a two-fronted attack from Iran(including what is now Iraq.. face it.. there’s going to be an anschluss) and Turkey.

And the reason for that success is the commonality among all of them (not muzzie dominated).

Maybe you missed the Senate report that details how Khalid Sheikh Muhammed was waterboarded and admitted being the mastermind in 9/11. After confessing, he also explained that Saddam and Iraq had nothing to do with it. So they kept waterboarding him and he kept explaining that Iraq wasn't involved.

Or maybe you have information that Khalid Sheikh Muhammed didn't have?

1) "Hundreds in Fallujah burn U.S. flag to celebrate troops pulling out of Iraq"

2) Ayman al-Zawahiri, the Chief of Operations of Al Qaeda, wrote a letter detailing that Iraq HAD to be won--it was AQ's decisive engagement against the U.S.

3) We crushed Al Qaeda there, and killed, wounded, and dissuaded untold thousands of terrorists from all around the world as well.

#1 shows how pathetic, stupid, ungrateful, and hateful hajis are as well as just how undeserving they are of any further aid from us. #2 and #3 show why we needed to be there at all. Iraq can burn in their own fire, I couldn't care less. We inflicted terrible damage on many, many terrorists and their networks. That's all that matters.

Saddam Hussein was a serious threat to our National Security. Both political parties thought so and several reasons were given as to why. Saddam Hussein was openly a sworn enemy of the United States. Trained, financed and supported terrorism. Had WMD and continually pursued WMD. Attacked United States interests across the globe and attacked his neighbors. Saddam committed tortue and genocide against his own people, and Saddam Hussein committed the greatest act of environmental terrorism against the world had ever seen by intentionally burning his oil fields and intentionally dumping his oil into the ocean.

It is sad to see some posts here at FR that are not much different than the talking points of Code Pink or International A.N.S.W.E.R.. We are not policing the world but are fighting for the National Security of this nation.

It is the likes of those who fall for the talking points of groups like Code Pink, International A.N.S.W.E.R. and the Ron Paul Revolution that has cost the lives of the men and women in our Armed Forces with your constant non-stop defense of our enemies by blaming our own nation and giving moral support to our enemies. Instead of a united front behind our troops to bring a speedy victory the enemy hears the constant drumbeat by the likes of the anti-American war movement and was given hope to go and commit acts of terrorism.

The decisions of the Obama administration are being fueled by a desire to appease these anti-American groups and it is completely pathetic to read some posts here in this thread even that want to use the obvious poor judgement of Obama as some sort of proof that the war was fought for the wrong reasons.

This anti-war mentality that was created through the Marxism of the sixties counter culture must either be destroyed or it very well may lead to the destruction of the United States one day.

The Philippines were not secured for any kind of self determination until after the Insurrection that lasted until 1910.

Our opponent then was the Muslims.

North Afirca is composed of a number of Muslim countries, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Algeria, Egypt. Until recently, these countries were Democratic self governing until some were taken over by dictatorial process.

You do know that Germany, Japan, Grenada and Nicaragua are not primitive tribal societies. We fought Germany and Japan because they attacked us and our allies. We didn’t get involved in Grenada and Nicaragua to overthrow their dictators but rather because the Cubans invaded Grenada and we had US citizens at risk there. We assisted Nicaragua in avoiding a rebel Marxist takeover.

You do know that most of the 8 countries in North Africa including Eqypt, Libya and Sudan are traditionally controlled by strong man dictators. Now that those leaders have been overthrown they are being replaced by the Muslim Brotherhood and Islamic law. Again, the tribal culture. Its not going to be democratic and its not going to be very friendly to the US.

The American way of war is to protect ourselves agains’t attack by others and to protect our allies agains’t the same. Over time it has morphed into nation building which is a poor strategy. We should be leading by example.

Iraq is not going to be a democratic nation. Not now not ever. Neither is Afghanistan or most any of the arab states. Thats not the way they roll and we need to leave them to it unless it threatens our own self interest.

What color is the sky in your world?

The entire civilized world was in agreement before the invasion that Saddam had WMDs.

He proved he had them.

He used them.

He was hanged for using them.

The only real question is "Where did he hide them?".

The answer to that one is probably "The Bekaa Valley".
