No. The threat he poses is coldly calculated, very real, and very sobering. Ron Paul’s godless, immoral libertarian ideology is destructive of the core natural law moral principles upon which this free republic, and our claim to liberty, are premised.
He clouds people’s minds about the difference between true liberty and moral license. He makes people think there is a “right” to do wrong, when none of the founders of this country would have made any such silly, dangerous claims.
He truly is a revolutionary, in the same sense Obama is a revolutionary. They both deny the self-evident truths of the founding. The kool-aid might be a different flavor, but the cyanide will kill you just the same.
Despite it being a refuge of sanity and clear discussion of so many things, I've also read a lot of crap on Free Republic over the years - a lot of people getting down and dirty and outright lying as hard as they know how, over every issue they know is true, for purely evil purposes, in order to destroy clear understanding.
But I think this post of yours is the winner. It is such a nasty, all-out lie, such a deliberately absolute rape of everything Ron Paul stands for, such a heinous violation of what you know to be the truth, that with it you've won the filth award of the decade.
But in a strange way, it pleases me. Because of the enemies of the Constitution, of true freedom, and of truth, are so up against it that they have to resort to a level of thuggery like your grotesque lies in order to try to kill the light, then things are actually getting better. Yes, scum trolls will continue to collect paychecks for trying to destroy their country, but the fact that they are hired at all, and printing such depravity, means the awakening is becoming unstoppable.
That's all - you can carry on now (for as long as they continue to pay you, of course).
I can guarantee you that goal will not be reached by the display of juvenile name calling evidenced on this thread. In fact, it could just as easily convince people that the opponents of Ron Paul should not be taken seriously and if this is the quality of his opposition, maybe he deserves another look.
