We agree on a lot Lazlo, but to me Santorum has no charm at all, Obama would beat him... I’d bet money on it
He comes across as a whiner to me... I always got a negative vibe, he’s just not an impressive person... I’d rather go back to Bachmann

Agreed in full... I expect Gingrich to sweep the south

But it alarms me to see the MSM manipulate the so called Conservative base in this manner. That same Base, that prides itself with being above media manipulation and capitulation. It's the laughing stock of the entire nation. Yes, conservatives are being manipulated by polls.
First they tear down Palin, and they play up Bachmann. Then they tear down Bachmann and they play up Perry. Then they tear down Perry and they play up Cain. Then they tear down Cain and they play up Noot. Finally they tear down Noot and they play up Santorum, a candidate who is no more conservative than Noot and who doesn't have the resourses to run a national campaign and they do it right before the Iowa caucus.
What we have now, a week before Iowa, is Palin, Bachmann, Cain and Perry on the trash heap, we have Newt and Santorum splitting the anti Romney vote, and we have Mitt leading in Iowa and NH.
And we now have good conservatives on this board thinking that the latest poll driven flavor of the day is some how better than the others and miraculously rising in the polls.
Sorry to say it, but what has happened is pathetic.

Anyone who pimps for Arlen Specter rather than support a good conservative like Pat Toomey doesnt have the judgment to be POTUS
Newt never backed a RINO over a Conservative, did he? NY 23 comes to mind off hand. Slamming a Candidate for a single endorsement is silly.

Like I said before, read the whole sentence.
It seems, the first part of the sentence was only copied and the rest left out.
Here is the full sentence in full context.
This is what I actually wrote....
" I don't care what the Newt punks say, when they say that those who don't support Newt are helping Romney, I was supporting Herman Cain before he dropped out, and Newt was not even on the radar at the time. "
As I said, painting what I said with a broad brush....
Not all Newt supporters are saying that those who support anyone but Newt are helping Romney..

" Anyone who pimps for Arlen Specter rather than support a good conservative like Pat Toomey doesnt have the judgment to be POTUS. " ....
Yeah, and Newt supported RINO Dede Scozzafava, so what's your point ?
To: American Constitutionalist
A good conservative like Toomey who supported the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell ban in the military ? and ? also supports the repeal the ban of sodomy and bestiality in the military ?
You got to be joking , right ? seriously ? a good conservative who supports those things ?

" The entire Iowa fiasco has become a spectacle of stupidity. It's a Clown Show, in the likes of Barnum and Bailey. "
Of course, if Newt was in the lead in all the polls in Iowa , Iowa would be great, and great intellectuals, Mega Sarcasm.

I like Santorum, but the Santorum surge is nothing but a siphon of votes for Newt. I truly wish he and Bachman would step down for the good of the country.
But they won’t — so what does that say about them?
