Twenty-four years ago, Los Angeles Dodgers VP Al Campanis was forced to resign his position for saying on national TV that blacks lack "the necessities" to be baseball managers and executives.
On today's Hardball, Chris Matthews was so enjoying himself mocking Rick Perry's intelligence, that he decided to use a slightly mangled version of the same line on the Texas governor.

It sounds like Perry doesn’t give Chrissy a tingle in his leg. Come to think of it, I haven’t seen any male “reporters” fainting at Perry rallies. Chrissy might be right.
I wasn’t considering voting for Perry before. But after hearing Chrissy Mathews’ comments, I may have to give Perry a second look.
I’m not a great Perry fan, but I’d bet both of his ‘neceaasries’ are bigger than Chrissie’s...
Chrissy doesn’t have the intelligence or the brain to be considered a homo sapien. We should consider him the “missing link” between euglenozoa and protozoa, or between a pea-brain and a no-brain.
A big difference between Perry and Chrissie is that Perry is likeable, an important factor in winning an election.
Oh yes, Chris Matthews, that great political mind. Perry’s been smart enough to remain Governor of Texas for twelve years and keep us prosperous and employed. What does Matthews have to show for his last twelve years besides a tingly leg?

I had believed for a while now that the one candidate the media hates the most is Perry. This media pumping of Santorum in the last few days is indicative that they want to split the conservative vote as to deny Perry a win, since conservatives are his strongest base of support. Of course, they are protecting Romney, thus Romney benefits by splintering the conservative vote. And on that note, who cares about Chrissy? He is so irrelevant.
Matthews can go to hell. Nobody cares what his commie journOlist self thinks. Tell him to ask his gay loverboy thewon what corpsemen is.
