Didn’t Happen.
Barracks was in 1983. The Iranian Navy was not targeted for it and did not lose any ships to the USN until 1987 when we seized the Iran Ajr mining Bahrain Bell. Operation Preying Mantis was in 1988.
The Iranian Navies were not sunk at any time by the USN...
Even what we did to the Libyans in 1984 in retaliation for the Berlin Disco bombing was not even close to sinking their entire Navy.
PS Libya never had Destroyers. It was 2 patrol vessels and a Minesweeper...
