Grand Rapids - A Michigan man knowingly had unprotected sex with thousands of people whilst diagnosed with HIV, hoping to spread the infection.

Police in Rapid Springs, Michigan, have released information hoping to alert potential victims of a serial philanderer who deliberately had unprotected sex with thousands of people, in an effort to spread HIV. David Dean Smith, 51, turned himself in to Michigan police last week, confessing that he hoped to spread his infection to others.

Well, in a sense, yes. For every year it was out there it got some huge multiple of mutation time due to the extreme coupling in the gay community -up to 200 partners a year comprised of a wide crossection of society. Such mutation is probably not possible in so short a time in a disease carried and passed on soley by animals.

So I am up many nights into the morning, unable to sleep. I watched something on I think it was MSNBC or some channel like that and it was about gay men and what they are up to. They go on craigslist and look for something called P & P. Which means party and play. The party is meth and the play is indiscriminate unprotected sex with as many men as they can. Many know they are HIV+ and don’t tell their partners. There is lots of unprotected group sex and they try to answer or place as many ads in a night as they can.

I watched for about 30 minutes as the first story I caught was about a man who had a good job, was ‘married’ and had kids. He had a good life, good family and everything was great until he got HIV. Then a year later or so, he is in a seedy hotel, cruising on craigslist and smoking meth. He was the only one I really felt sorry for.

But the guy in this article who intentionally tried to pass it on, well, his should be cut off and seared with a branding iron so he doesn’t get any more ideas.

Of course, it goes without saying that the only people who could have caught HIV from him were men of gay leanings or women of promiscuous ones. Most men don’t go looking around for sex from other men and most women don’t go looking around for sex from men they don’t know or won’t pay them so, unless you belong to one of these two groups, you wouldn’t have the slightest desire to do the nasty with 50-year-old men and would not have contracted the disease from him.
