On Sunday's Meet the Press on NBC, as guest Rick Santorum criticized President Obama for not supporting a democracy movement in Iran that might have weakened the anti-America radical Muslim government of Tehran, but, by contrast, supported a democracy movement in Egypt directed against a pro-America government - which resulted in an election that recently handed more power in Cairo to radical Muslims - host David Gregory accused the GOP presidential candidate of being "patently contradictory." As he moved into this foreign policy portion of the interview, Gregory brought up a recent speech in which Santorum accused President Obama of

so, in 5 minutes he was more aggressive with santorum than he has been of obama in 5 years.
Gregory is an Obamanoid.
We all have our favorite candidates. It only makes sense that the media and the rest of the democrats would support obama.
Every Republican who goes on this sort of show should look for opportunities to say something like: “David, you’re promoting Obama’s viewpoint on this issue. I understand that you like his agenda more than my agenda, but let’s look at the facts ...”
Excellent, but they never do that, for they want to be invited again.
Or, David; I understand you are paid to be a spokesman for the DNC but....
Happy New Year
Amen!!! If only every Republican would do that . . . demonstrate some real backbone when confronting these overtly biased partisan hacks.
David Gregory is another metrosexual reporterette from NBC-Obama who can’t put his panties on without whispering fervent praise of Dear Leader.
If Republican did say such things, and if the networks did get offended, and if the networks did stop inviting Republicans to appear ...
... don't you think the public would eventually notice that 100% of the guests on political talk shows should were official, card-carrying members of the Democrat Party?
The networks need Republicans to show up. One of these days, the Republicans will realize this.
He works harder for 0bama than Hillary does!
David Gregory talks about himself during an interview.
Yeah I saw this Gregory was arguing with Santorum, acting as Obama’s surrogate. These “reporters” are disgraceful.
Gregory also was yelling at Santorum that everyone knows 3 presidents have failed to deal effectively with Iran. Ok, so?
The liberal message was it is impossible to do better.
When David was a white house reporter he always prefaced his questions with his opinion. I think GOP candidates should do the same thing to him.
In answer to you question David, I realize that you are irretrievable biased with a left wing agenda and have no interest in hearing any other view, but for the sake of your listeners who are interested in the truth, I would point out that most of our allies think Obama is an incompetent buffoon who has made America the laughing stock of the entire world.
The problem is that Republican candidates and office-holders are happy to appear on these biased shows, giving unsophisticated viewers the perception that the ‘news’ show is objective - when it clearly isn’t. I agree that smug leftist hacks such as David Gregory should be treated as what they are: shills for Obama and the DNC. No need for the Republican guest to name-call the host, simply point out (with a smile) that the (biased) host is parroting the Democrat line (or Talking Points) and instead of getting caught up in minutia address the fact that the assumptions and skew of almost any given question aimed at a Republican takes the leftist line. Of course, this will never happen. Republican candidates and office-holders like the spotlight and the prestige inherent in being interviewed by some ‘big name’ media star. Thus it ever was.
They did the show from Des Moines... I wonder if Gregory brought his passport on the trip since Iowa is another country to “his kind”. :)
“NBC’s Gregory Defends Obama Mideast Policy Vs. Santorum, Defends Election Win”
Old Horseface (a/k/a David Gregory) is just an unofficial minion of David Axelrod’s Ministry of Propaganda.
Anyone who can’t distinguish between his cheerleading for the CommiePunk and a real journalist must have an IQ in the sub-68 range.
“It’s this big in a funhouse mirror.”
“David, I understand you would eat soup out of Ibama’s back crack however...”
I beg to differ. Gregory is an A**hole.
Although I wasn’t a big fan of Tim Russert, this David guy isn’t fit to even shine Tim’s shoes. This little weasle is way too tiny minded for the job. Russert would be embarrassed by him.
One of these days, the Republicans will realize this....Or not. The entire GOP continues to have a finite number of “Oops Moments”, during their entire duration of existence.
Dickie’s wife works for the Dems in DC!
And this surprises — who?!
For the life of me I never understood why nobody, and I mean nobody on the Pub side has ever done that. It would be an immediate hit with the base and, would also serve notICe to the questioner that they will be exposed when taking sides with their questions. Newt has come close recently but he seems to have backed off.
For two years while Obama was campaigning to be President, he said he would have direct talks with the Iranian leader Ahmadinejad and that would solve all the problems.
It’s hard to be self respecting and defend stupidly at the same time.
It’s hard to be self respecting and defend stupidly at the same time.
Gregory is a “DICK” with ears.
why do republicans go on these libtards shows anyway?
Someone did to chrissy thrill up my leg but I cant remember who
Why do Republicans, of all people, push for “democracy?” This country is going down the tubes and we have idiots running for office who are in love with mob rule.
I think he's a "DICK" whose ears look like a nutsack.
“Every Republican who goes on this sort of show should look for opportunities to say something like: David, youre promoting Obamas viewpoint on this issue. I understand that you like his agenda more than my agenda, but lets look at the facts ...”
Newt does that all the time.
But hey, maybe the “true conservative” will pull it off one time so we dont have to spend the post crappy interview performance wishing that he said A, B, and C.
Because people still watch them and news is made form the appearances.
Everyone knows these shows are liberal, however Santorum is supposed to have been PREPARED or at least be able to handle these goons.
He instead went onto this show like an amateur and let a dunce host knock him around.
Now how is he going to take on Obama?
Bingo. There needs to be coordinated strategy on the R side when they go on these shows. A strategy designed around treating the interviewers as a "hostile" witness, or a member of the opposition team. It should be standard practice for the conservative candidate to get this type of briefing/training before they go on these shows.
He's also a hemorrhoid.
I will never figure out why Republicans go on shows run by these Democrat newsroom scum.
Years ago a FReeper who shall remain nameless coined the name "The Rat-Faced Boy" for Gregory.
Now I can never look at him without thinking of this. Hee-hee!
They’re scared the enemedia will Palinize them.
Yes! That is exactly what all Pubbies should say!
Laughing long and loud!! Hear, hear!!
“What on Iran specifically separates the approach that President Obama has taken and that of President Bush?”
So now Bush is the “Gold Standard?” For one, Bush would have taken a more aggressive stance, but was blocked by the politically motivated NIE which claimed that Iran did not even have an a-bomb program.
Iran will respect a President Santorum just like they respected President Reagan, because Iran knows these men will take no guff.
